Has anyone been paid for work assignments done for Make Sunday, LLC? -

they are a personal assistant company. They have a website but none of the links for press work and all references to them have been deleted off Job Vent. Think it is a scam. I have done 2 assignments, but still don t know if I will be paid the $600/wk they promise. In this economy there are a lot of scams that say they will pay you to work at home. I don t see any other references to the company other than their own website.

I just began to work with them. Their office is in NYC on Park Ave, right? Their website messes up with English and German, maybe?Anyhow, I just began my 2nd job when they wanted me to use my bank account to get a wired payment into it to pay for something abroad.... my instinct said NO WAY! and I just sent them an email telling them that their excuse for using my bank account was not welcomed, when Western Union will accept payments of up to $7500 over the phone with a service charge of $340 or if you take it to an agent and use your debit / credit card the service charge will be $225.I basically told them that business transactions have to be honest and based on integrity. I have yet to build trust with them and they are asking me to give them my bank account number? Are they joking or what? and proceeded to tell them that I m fine ending my services to them right here. If I am still in probationary period.... maybe they should step in and take over! Oh yes, they were luring me with a bonus payment of $300 by using my bank account! It s not about the money anymore.... it s integrity.I began looking the www for Make Sunday, LLC. but couldn t find anything on them until now. Thanks for putting that question up!

No..and I am very leary about continuing to spend hours putting together researchs on rental cars and such. I have asked for a contract of employment for the work before I continue...we ll see how that goes. It also seems that anything that I have found about them gets deleted.. hmmm.. and why is it when you google them, not even the website comes up in the search. It s just very weird. And i m pretty sure they re a part of AskSunday.. Let me know if you hear anything!

Sure does sound like a scam. I suspect you will not get anything, but I guess you should keep trying to contact them.

How to find stats, market research etc to help with a business plan? -

Can you access government stats, Uni s research etc and if so how? With the WWW I thought there would be a lot of info but I can t seem to gather the right data.Any suggestions welcome.

statistics from more than 100 agencies http://www.fedstats.gov

This can be tough to find online, even though we all love Google (except Yahoo and MSN). I d look at compete.com, maybe alexa.com for stats and maybe some market research. Then I d look up market research companies (especially those near you if your topic is necessarily geographically focused); looking at what they offer and how they claim to offer their services. There are gobs of government research available online, but you have to be very clear on what you want and then go through alot to find it. Try your local Secretary of State website and then looking for internet based market research companies. Usually stats are better and more important than market research (some would argue that stats are market research).Look at other companies doing what it is that you want to do and study their annual reports, websites, board of directors (if they have one) and how they run, who they hire to help them with research and development, and you ll start to see patterns.

Can an employer pay her employees like this? -

my sister works at an afterschool program in SC (anderson county, if it makes a difference). It s small and has maybe 10 employees. She has been working there since the beginning of the year. Her pay schedule is: she gets paid for 15 days of work every 30 days. for instance, the first 15 days she worked last month was on her paycheck at the end of that month. the next 15 days she worked last month were on her check at the end of this month. Almost a year of that pay schedule and she s VERY far behind on what she s supposed to be paid. her boss gave her a raise, but she couldn t afford to pay her for the full 15 days with the new raise. so she kept the hourly rate at the new rate, but only paid her for 12 days instead of the 15. She says she can t afford it because she s helping a few families by giving them free after school care. is this legal??? and if she were to quit, would her employer be held responsible for paying her all the back pay ?? and how long should my sister give the employer to pay it all back?? thanks!

What the employer is doing is violating SC daycare regulations on how long he/she can employ someone directly in the care of children without being certified. If she quits, she IS due the money, and if the employer doesnt want to pay, she can turn him/her into the SCDOL and dept of social service. They take this kind of violation VERY seriously.

Wow, that is garbage. Like everyone else answered, that is illegal! Your sister should get another job and demand her pay right now. And if her employer doesn t cough up the money immediately (give her a week, at the most), notify the authorities. Also, it doesn t matter if she s giving every person in the state free child care, your sister is due the money she is owed for working! Your sister s employer is a sleazeball and an idiot.

1. yes its illegal.2. tell her to find a new job3. call the cops on this person4. both the lady and your sister would do well to learn about money management it goes to show NOT EVERYONE should be in business for themselves.

This is so illegal, your sister should quit now and demand ALL of her backpay in one fell swoop. If no payment, off to labor department she goes! ---Kasey C, PC guru since Apple II daysI m not a complete idiot, some parts are missing!

what she is doing is illegal tell your sister to keep her hours in a book for herself and turn her in to the dept of labor in your state

Wage and hour division does not take to kindly to this kind of shenanigan.

Trump Network MLM Question? -

Hi Everyone.Trying to get some info on the Trump Network.I have a pretty good understanding about MLM s and understand the pitfalls. My question is are people having a success with it?How are the products selling? What are you doing to generate leads? It seems the products are a bit overpriced even though they seem to be good quality. What is the key to be successful in an MLM.Thank you in advance for your comments.

People are having and have been having success with it, since the Trump Network Cpreviously Ideal Health C has been around for twelve years. The products include highly-advanced, scientifically-proven health and wellness products, including customized testing and metabolic analysis, effective weight-management solutions and vitamin and mineral supplements. The most popular product is a personalized multivitamin (Custom Essentials?), designed for an individual s specific needs and nutritional deficiency. The Trump Network will send you leads once you each a certain level. Also, my team teaches new marketers how to generate leads on there own with many free tools. The main keys to success are believing in your own potential, treating the MLM as a business not a hobby, and most importantly finding a good system/TEAM to help you succeed.

Hi there. I have heard of the Trump Network. I was in a similar business and to be completely honest with you, when times are tough, the first thing people cut out of their budget is autoship of a product. I have a couple people who joined Trump way before the launch, however, I have not heard back from them about their success or lack of. The key to being successful in ANY MLM is to have the right mindset and to be trained. If you would like to know more, send me a message.

The key to success is obviously your lead generation skills. Leads = money. That means the first step is to get some good online marketing knowledge under your belt. I use a generic lead generation system that my downline can plug right into with minimal training.

Can you start a small business with a business management degree? -

I want to start a small baking business and am going for a certificate in baking and then a business management degree after but it isn t a bachelors. Would I be able to open a small shop with these in NJ or would I have to get a bachelors in business?

Studying a management course may contribute near to nothing when your really out there (in the market - I know because ive experienced it) However those degrees and your previous achievements may count in a lot in gathering investors especially considering that your going for banking industry where credibility is considered top priority.Ask yourself a question, would you rather save your money at a bank made by ivy grads plus 20 years of experience or just someone with B.A in management and bank license. Not to sound cruel and I know that i m saying out of my lines but I wouldnt really go into banking industry if i were you. Also if you want to go make a bank you rather do economics than business management (both may be great)Don t take my words too hard because you know that major businesses started from scratch and those ceos (back in the days) werent ivy grads. But just know the statistics and facts before you start.

There is no requirement for a degree in setting up your own business. The junior colleges usually have a small business program which is better.

Unmistakably you Can

You could try a completely free home based online business.

What happens if you buy a product on ebay but you never get it because it was a scam? -

Will you ge tthe money back?I need a macbook pro but I don t have enough money to buy it from apple or other retailer so I was thinking about buying it from ebay.I don t have an account so I don t know how it works. How can you be sure you re not going to be scammed?thx

No, you will most likely NOT get your money back. If you got scammed, WHO do you think is going to give it to you?? The ONLY way to guarantee that you will NOT get scammed is to buy from a legit dealer. You get yourself into trouble when you go online to save a few bucks. If you insist on buying online, two things should make you run away from the deal, they are Nigeria or Western Union . If those come up AT ALL during the sale, you are being scammed. Actually, stay away from ANYTHING being sold from outside the USA.

First set up an ebay account, then a paypal account. If you use paypal there is protection for you if things go wrong; they refund you if it turns out you have been scammed (I have had a refund from paypal so I know they do this). Second, research the dealer and the deal. If it looks too good to be true it probably is. Check the seller s feedback to make sure they have plenty of + fb for similar items. Check the item location agrees wiith the seller location. And ALways check postage and handling fees as some dealers will use these to bump up the price. Good luck

I would pay with Paypal and probably only in your country you are from. The reason Paypal is good in situations like Ebay is because they have some type of thing where you can get money back if you didn t receive the item. It is also good to MAKE sure you get a tracking number of some kind.
