Here is a list of books I have found helpful:The Art of the StartThe Sales BibleClose More Sales!Aside from books I have also found many websites useful. Like this one. Also I have found that once you start a business a lot of companies will call you to let them do your advertising. What I have done (after trying out a few of those companies) is to do your own marketing. Sign up for a Google Adwords account and start doing it. There are often codes given out for free advertising with them. I started by entering in my business in the Local Business Center and then they sent me a code for $100 in free advertising with adwords. As I do it, I learn what people are searching for and so how to make my ads more appealing. Good Luck!

Setting up a small business a dog sitting service do i need to be registered or anything? -
Whenever you can do something properly and run a business using it, you should be concerned about clients and their satisfaction and if you get regular income, money management.Dont worry about registration. Gone are the days when people used to steal or take over small biz names. After you gain a reputation, it is still difficult for others to copy your biz name. So instead of worrying about registration, jumpstart your business.Your clients will push you up on these matters.
To keep things legal I would suggest setting up a DBA (doing business as) especially if you are going to call your business by a name besides your own. You just need to contact your county clerk for information about that.

I have a cunning internet business plan? -
Good idea. You should build a standard sales pitch emphasizing the benefits of having a web presence, and how the cost of your website can be paid for by adding only [xx] new customers! Should pretty much sell itself, as long as you keep your cost reasonable.I m surprised every day how many businesses do not have a website. Part of my job is researching new companies/sources of supply, and my best tool is the internet. No website, no business.
In my analysis, if you do this way, you ll have big overhead cost, which is actually not efficient for a business that operate this way. I think making website has been a commodity, which means you need to develop your own service not only for making website to get more income. because in commodity you can t have much income.

Could i use 4 seasons as the name of my new business? -
I would doubt it as four seasons is taken as a company name - you could try something similar and more speccific to your line of work eg. Four Seasons Landscaping or All Seasons etc . When you apply for a company name at Companies House they ll advise you of any other companies with that name and if it is too similar to an existing name it won t be allowed. Generally it s not a good idea to choose something with a name similar to that of a large corporation - their legal department won t allow it and their pockets will be deeper than yours.
Actually, you could. It s not like you re going to go into the hotel business, and much less at a scale that would create real competition for the chain.Go for it. It s a great name for your type of business.
Already in use in the catering business I know Name of a pub in the Hungry Horse bgroup
depending on how you use it and all that because where i live there is a 4 seasons salon mayb u can put a little twist to it
the only other business i could find was four seasons hotel
try Seasonal Treasure
probably not. the four seasons is a hotel chain.
ye thats good
yes...sounds good
If your in Ireland now there is all ready one of that name here
