Please note that being a party planner tends to be less about planning and more about promoting so it depends a lot on networking and developing lists of both attendees and clients. I know one promoter who makes well over $75k and only has 2 clients because he s a great promoter and has great lists. I m sure it s much more and much less for others.Good luck!

Hi guysI am hoping there are some UK based event/party/wedding planners out there who can help me.....At some point in the near future I am hoping to start up and event/party planning business with a good friend of mine. About less than a month ago, I opened up a web hosting company using a resellers account. I have everything set up and going on to having 3 clients, but I have gotten these people by word of mouth. Yes you do have to pay something when you sign up and just to let you know that you can now sign yourself up online if your interested I could also send you that information. You don t get free products but reps get to pay lower prices for the new products before they are even available to the customers. Not normally. Your lunch break may not be included in your salaried/hourly wages. You will have to know this from discussing with him. Even if you do not take a break or wish to take a break some companies automatically deduct your lunch breaks from your pay. I think your two 10-15 minutes breaks if they are allotted to you are included in your hourly wages.

I believe it is required by law to have a 30 minute break every 5 hours and that does not have to be a paid break. So your boss can deduct that from your hours.
