Replicas are not illegal unless they are counterfeit. Meaning, if you try to sell a fake Rolex as a real one it s illegal. If you sell a watch that works similar to a Rolex, it not illegal (Unless of course the design or something that Rolex owns was stolen or violated).From your description, I would say this would fall under counterfeiting.
