Without being in your class this question is impossible to answer, we don t know what was discussed about the topic in your unit - we could give you an answer that might be completely irrelevant as you may not have covered it. All it is asking you for is a personal opinion and should not be difficult for you to answer. What do you find interesting about small businesses and why? E.g. That the majority of people work for small businesses and most of them employ less than 10? You see I don t even know if you discussed that or not.
You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do. In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online.
Hey,Last year working full time with kids, I needed to make extra money as well. I tried a bunch of different sites. MOST did spam me, my email, even annoying phone calles which sucked. But I did find one site which I still use to this day that pays me legit money, even paid me to sign up in the start, and i pick and choose what surveys I do. I get paid straight to paypal and only use the site once a week and can make an extra 50 dollars here and there. I suggest it. This site is posted below.http://tryvindale.com/VfSRKYD63
Yes, you can find such website @ http://innmoney.yolasite.com/ They provide a collection of link that have real paid survey and stuff. Cheers :)

Many city, county and state governments require business owners to register their small business and get a business license. Some cities require that a home business pay a surcharge or charge certain taxes. In order to find out what your city requires contact your city hall and ask about the laws that apply to local home based businesses.
It depends on what Sate you live in. If you are just starting your business you may want to go with LLC if you plan to do it for a good while. www.LegalZoom.com you can do it all on line and they do it all for you. But if it s more of a hobby that you want to make money off of, then go sole proprieter so that it s less paperwork. Remember you can always change later to an LLC. You will need a business license. You just go to your local Government office. Look in the phone book and they will direct you to how to license a home business. Usually it s some papers to fill out and a fee. Then you pay a fee and taxes every year to renew it.I recommend going to the bookstore and buying a book on home businesses. You don t need an accountant at this point. Just keep track of your receipts in an excel spreadsheet. At the end of the year you will submit this to your tax preparer and they will do the rest. Not real complicated. Iv e run a home business for the past 3 years now and I am incorporated.
Free site to get layouts? You can design your own using www.w3schools.com. Getting layouts cost unless you do it yourself really.According to http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/storef yes an eBay shop will cost from:Basic shop will cost 14.99 / monthFeatured shop will cost 49.99 / month Anchor shop will cost 349.99 / monthI looked at eBay rival eBid and you can get a store without paying any extra monthly fees. CQout does it for an annual fee $159.60.
To open an eBay Shop, you pay a monthly subscription fee. Each item you list in your eBay Shop incurs an Insertion Fee and, if it sells, a Final Value Fee. As a Shops subscriber, you will get reduced rates on Insertion Fees for Buy It Now listings. The level of fee discount you receive depends on which Shop level you subscribe to. The fees shown here apply only to Shops opened on eBay.co.uk.Basic 14.99 / monthFeatured 49.99 / month No mention of 1k.
Also look up amazon shops, but It always feels good to call the company speak to a live person ask what it s like, the cost, the options etc.. I ma call both of them too, If I were you i d do the following:I would make an actual website i.e. www.KennysClothes.comAnd than buy an ebay shop an amaozon shop. When I ship my stuff I will send flyers stickers on the box with the Official website address (kennysclothes.com) yeah.. anyway..
Start a survey now... Just write up a questionaire that asks the following: We are doing a marketing survey, and would appreciate your opinion in this matter. No name is required, and there is nothing to buy. * approximately how big is your yard?* do you shovel your own snow (or have snow blower and such?)* if so, how much of it do you do? (just door to curb, etc.)* how much would you pay for such a service when it snows?* if such a service is retained, power tools or manual shoveling?* any other opinions you have on this, please write in below. Then knock on each door and see if you can get a live person, or if not, leave the survey taped to the door, with a note that you ll come back for it in 2 days, just leave it taped on the door as well. Once you *have* the market data, you can then calculate costs, like cost of shovels, hiring help, renting / buying power equipment, and so on, and determine if the price people are willing to pay will make you a profit. Advertising can be done almost the same way: door to door tie a brochure to someone s door knob or mailbox. However, keep in mind that it s better to start a real corp to do this, for liability issues, as you do want to buy insurance and stuff like that, in case something happens, you know. :)

www.WebPricedRight.comThey offer free hosting with domain registration. They also have 24/7 free support and some of the best prices Ive found. They also have great hosting deals and Ive never had an issue with down time.I have used over half a dozen companies over the last 9 years. I am a Graphic Designer and I service over 20 clients. Most of the service providers that I used promised the world but just raised their prices the next year. For the last 3 years I have been working with Web Priced Right. I wasn t sure at first because their prices were relatively low compared to other options out there. It was the best decision I ve ever made!
For a great FREE web host I would suggest http://www.myownfreeweb.com where you can get 300MB disk space, 10Gygabytes bandwidth, free email, free hosting, 29 free preinstalled scripts so you dont have to do the install work, PHP, HTML, MySQL and much more. It s a really strong host and I have used it for my web site for years with great results. All you do is sign up and set up your website instantly. They have video guides and pre made web designs where all you do is put in the words you want. It doesn t get easier than that.
Use NetworkJuiceHosting.com Web Host. It s the best webhosting compapany out there so far. It s Better then yahoo host , google host, dream host , and etc.I remember they have a plan which starts around $0.99 for 5GB of DiskSpace with other features such as bandwidth and Cpanel Unlimited!.I think you should try it bro.Good Luck Mate.
I would stay away from the free ones, but consider using your ISP (like comcast) they give free space and don t put advertising on your site, but you can t use your own domain name I thinkgood luckRoe

Franked mail is done by a machine. It does not have a stamp on. The machine is bought by a business or company and the cost of the postage is bought at the post office and input into the machine. You probably get loads of letters with no stamps but with a red circle saying how much the letter has cost. Hope this helps.
Franking is process used by businesses.Essentially some business make a deal with mail companies, whereby they pay a single fee for all the mail that goes fromthem. Sometimes its more, sometimes less than the fee they pay, but instead of stamping every letter they pay a single regular fee for all their mail. These companies get franking machine, which is essentially like a printer. You put letters through them, and the letters get stamped with a postage mark and code which recognises the letter as having come from that company. Those boxes that say franked only refer to letters that have been stamped in this way by a re-paid franking machine by a company.
