I need help coming up with a cute/clever name for my own cake business. Any ideas? -

Hi! My name is Sara and within the past few months I have started decorating cakes for parties and various events. Every time I bring a cake somewhere people ask me for a card where they can contact me....problem is I didn t have any. So... I have decided to make a website and business cards to help get my name out there but I am having trouble coming up with a cute/clever name for my business. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Get some friends/prospective customers together and sit around for a bit brainstorming names. Don t discuss the pros and cons, just let the ideas come out and jot them down. You will get more ideas than you ever expected, and some of them will be good. I have always liked the types of names like Aunt Libby s Attic or The Consignment Depot , or Consignment Junction or other things like that. Is there anything unique about where you live? If you are in a railroad town, then the depot and junction names are not bad. If you are at the seashore, then something like So and So s (or the name of the town) Salvage and Consignment would not be bad. Mountains? Consignment Chalet (okay, I am not digging that one...) You get the idea. Farm town? Consignment Barn . Detroit? Clothes and Stuff, Cheap . New York? Big Apple Clothing Recyclers and Consignment Center . San Francisco? Weird Uncle Betty s Steam Trunk or Uncle Betty s Used Clothing and Shoe Emporium . Okay, enough of that.

Ad on internet for Grant Instructors, said would help find grant for a business, went right to grant resource guide .com, wanted me to confirm last four digets of credit card after i had given the my number in order to join their company, I would not and will not do that. Have you every heard of these paople, and do you know anything about the? if so would you Please let me know how to get out of their clutches.

Sounds like you have fallen prey to a scam. Contact them and tell tell not to charge your card. Call your card issuer and tell them not to accept any charges from these people. I hope that you have learned your lesson.

Anything pertaining to a grant that ends in dot com is a scam in some form or another. They want money up front. The only reputable person that I know of is Kevin Trudeau. He has books and good solid answers and these books will tell you the same thing I will tell you, go to dot gov websites for help with grants.

I would suggest that u first learn about share markets and how to trade properly. Otherwise it is suicide to enter the stock market dude. There are so much to study before playing the market. Try learning technical analysis and candle stick charts. Stock market is a death trap for those who do not know it properly. Once u know how to play safe, it is a treasure house. :-) Take care.
