I want to go over my current Indian client and do business directly with his client in Germany. How do I appro? -

Things that are pinning me are:1. Is this unethical(From my side it is not, as my current client has gone behind my back and started doing business directly with my sub-contractor. Which I believe is unecthical treatment towards me)2. Will the German client take my direct approch postively(he will not be knowing my circumstances).3. Could this in any way back fire on me.I have never done any export business. I dont know how the Germans or international markets think over these issues.

It is Unethical .... Yet you have to offer a very competitive price ???/.. plus the german didn t deal with you before.. he might take your direct approach, but you have to gain his trust.. yet if the products are the same and the price is much competitive .. yet you don t have experience with exports ???!!!!.. You might make good money or win the german ,, yet it would back fire at you for sure some day or other.. What goes around, comes around Good luck, and have a great day ...

Can I ship to a FedEx store and pick up there? -

I m ordering a surprise birthday present for someone and don t want them to accidentally open the mail. Is there a way to ship the package to a local FedEx store or something along those lines and pick it up once it arrives?

Yes. Review the fourth service listed on the page.

Is it legal to sell a product that I made on the street? -

The product is legal and I want to sell it outside places like the welfare office and sporting events. I don t have any kind of license. So, is it legal? It is public property after all,

You will need a sales license. You are not allowed to just walk around and sell items.

Most cities require a vendors license and most state require you to sign up for a sales tax license so you can collect the sales tax and pay it to the city/state.

you will definitely need a license if you are even allowed to sell anything on thestreet - you may also have to get a state sales tax license

Please help me name my business? -

I currently design create wedding stationery and am looking to venture into selling other wedding accessories (ie) bombonierre, champagne flutes, guest books, flowergirl baskets etc etc etc.I would like a name that shows that it s obvious that it sells all things to do with weddings (ie) The Dazzling Bride, however don t want a name that is literal (ie) Wedding Supplies Accessories.Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!

Brainstorming Tips for Creating a Name:Any names that are suggested here may already be owned by another party and/or may be trademarked so I wanted to go a different route...Here s a few things to keep in mind:1) Keep your industry, your clients/customers, your advertising plan in mind. 2) The more unique distinctive a name, the higher the chances that the name is legally available for use. And the higher the chances of obtaining the trademark.3) Think of your business as having a personality. What kind of image do you want your business to portray? Specific brainstorming tips:Think about what you want but more importantly, think about what you DON T want. If you don t want a 3-word name, don t bother with those. If you don t want non-English words, don t bother with those so on and so forth. What are the types of names you like? Think about words in their simple forms, e.g. adjectives, Latin roots, mythological names, etc. Compile a listing of the types then seek out resources, such as books or sites, which specialize in those types. Here are some links where you can do some preliminary name checking:http://www.uspto.gov/trademarks/index.js C Click Search Marks: USPTO C Preliminary Search of Federal trademarkshttp://www.statelocalgov.net/50states-se --Go to your state s Secretary of State page to see if they have a searchable database of business nameshttp://www.hoovers.com/free/ http://www.thomasnet.com C Must register (free) to search their databasehttp://www.nameboy.com C Domain name searchhttp://yellowpages.superpages.com/yp.adv C National yellow pages; leave location blank to search nationwide However, please be aware that this is merely scratching the surface of what s out there. Only comprehensive research will tell you if the name is truly available. But, these links are free a great place to start, so I d try them out first. This entails searching the pending registered Federal and State trademark files as well as the US National Common-Law files. Then, if clear, you can decide if you would like to file for a Federal or a State trademark. Hope that helps! I wish you much success happiness in all your ventures!

I like the other persons idea, but if you hand make everything...what about Made 2 Honor or Made to Honor?
