Can my boss look through my phone at work..? -

i had to nip to the shop at work so i got my boss to cover the reception area for me, when i came back i notice that my phone wasn t in the same setting so i decided to rewind thorough the camera covering the reception area and i saw my boss looking thorough my phone. has he got any right to do this and if not what should i do..?

Not your personal phone but if it is a phone the company pays for yes. I saw a story on CNN Monday where a guy is suing his company for violating his privacy and wrongful termination for firing him because he was sexting his girlfriend on a company provided cell phone.

Your phone or the phone at the desk where you sit?If it is company property, he has every right. If you mean your mobile/cell phone than definately no because it is private property.Anyways, if it s the company phone, what are you afraid of? Are you making long calls you shouldn t be? What makes you think he doesn t already check when you re not there. What makes you think he doesn t know anyways because he after all, no doubt receives a detailed bill on a monthyl basis.

Only if it is a company phone. On what you should do I am not sure it s according to how you and your boss s relationship is. I mean do you think you could confront him on it or would you have to go up the ladder? Sorry thats the best i can do.

take the footage from the camera and transfer it to a flash-drive. and store it at home. if anything goes poorly you have an ace up your sleeve. invading a persons privacy is is not just immoral but is illegal.

Heck no he cant! If there is a policy stating that you arent allowed to have your phone then he can ask you to put it away, but thats it.

If it s a company phone, that means it is company property, so yes. If it s your own personal phone, no.

If it s your phone in your name and you re paying for it you could sue his ***. That s against the constitution.

Hi! I am about to graduate college and I want to be a buisness major. I have absolutely NO idea what college i need to go to to help me pursue my dream. I want to either own my own hotel like hilton or i want to own my own clothing brand like abercrombie or hollister. If i start a clothing brand i will hire a designer to design my clothes. I would like to know what college is a good buisness school and i would like it to be an Ivy League like harvard or darthmouth. Also any tips would be great! Thank you!

Would you give the products to your customer on Ebay if he or she buys it first before you gets the money? -

Even with a PayPal s 21 days of holding money from being transferred into your bank account, telling you have to ship the product to the customer first, would you do it anyway before you get the money?

I have a few hundred transactions on eBay as a buyer and as a seller. I have not had a single problem with not getting paid, or not getting what I paid for.PayPal never held my money, but I wouldn t worry if they did. It s been about two years since I sold anything, so maybe that s a new thing.

I always pay immediately with Paypal on ebay, and the sellers would not ship unless I paid. I am not sure what that 21 day hold period is all about. I thought the seller was paid instantly by Paypal? As a general rule, I would think you should get paid first before shipping an item. The buyer needs to have trust that you will send it.Maybe contact ebay or review the policy again. Good luck.

You must either be a new seller, sell in a fraud risk category, or have a low DSR to have PayPal hold your money for 21 days. Yes, I would ship the product, unless you expect the buyer to be dissatisfied.

NOO NEVEr because you can t trust anyone In this World!!

Well, only if the customer was my mother or my Aunt Gloria. I don t trust anybody else in monetary transactions.

do not ship anything unless you get your money sounds like a rip off to me.

What happens if a seller on ebay doesnt accept returns but mislabels auction? -

I bought an iPhone 3gs on ebay which states it s brand new never used but after receiving it today it s obviously been used. Still in great shape overall but NOT new like auction stated. Can I still get my money back or am i SOL?

I am a power seller on Ebay. I always am 100% honest and stand behind what I sell. For that reason I have 100% perfect feedback. I always check others feedbacks before I bid which will tell you a lot about the seller. It is a red flag if they have more than one or two bad feedbacks.Having said all that, the buyer has more power than the seller. A seller a can no longer leave bad feedback, YOU can as a buyer. Also, as a buyer, if you paid with pay pal, you are 100% covered. You go on paypal and go to the dispute section. It will ask you why you are disputing the item and it has a place to click for Item not as described . The seller then has 7 days to make things right with you, paypal will ask you to send the item back to the seller ( At your own expense ) and send with proof of delivery or you might never see your item again. Once you proved they got it back, then paypal will almost always refund your money.

You got screwed. You ran into those one of a kind seller. There s nothing you can do about it but leave a negative feedback and file a complaint with ebay. On the other hand, if you paid for the item and he does not send you the item, you can prosecute him. But in this case, you received the item and was unhappy with the condition it was in. At this point, it s totally up to the seller to respond and/or fix the situation or totally ignore it.This is a typical mistake lots of ebayer makes. Next time see and read feedbacks left by others. I don t know about you, but I do not deal with any seller with less than 99.9% feedback ratings. Also, ask questions if necessary. I assumed the phone didn t come in a box with all accessories and factory sealed how you expected it to. Ebayer often get the condition of the item and the package itself confused. He listed it as new, but was it the condition of the phone or the package as a whole. That s why it s important to ask questions such as: does it come factory sealed , does it come with the original box , is the box open , any missing parts , and so on....

To be totally honest (and sellers will hate me for saying it), if you know the eBay secrets , you can get your money back. Just file a dispute with eBay, and ship it back to the seller. Make sure you get delivery confirmation when you mail it.Once the seller has it back, they really can t do anything, except give you a refund. After all, the seller has the item, and your money, so eBay is going to side with you, the buyer.eBay is ALWAYS on the buyer s side, so I think you re going to be ok.Good luck!

First and foremost, have you contacted your seller? Even if they list no returns, some may be willing to work with you. If you have and they do not want to work with you, you have the option of filing a Significantly Not as Described (SNAD) claim. Read this page: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/item-not- it will list your options, time frames, and links to the resolution center. Keep in mind, should you file a claim through PayPal and win, you will be required to ship the item back on YOUR expense for a full refund.Definitely attempt to contact the seller, if you haven t already (especially if they re a private, small-time seller)-you may be surprised. Many sellers advertise no returns simply to reduce the number of buyers remorse issues thay may come up, but are willing to cooperate in cases of listing errors. Good luck! Remember, on eBay, you, as a buyer (especially if you pay through PayPal), have so much power! Use it appropriately.

Depends on if you bought from a Private or Business Seller.Private Seller- no chance, only small claims court etc...Business Seller-A chance if not as described They have to accept returns even if you change your mind. They should replace/refund.Paypal SNAD is the way to go- but you have to send back trackable at your expense to win your claim. If you are happy with it overall-contact the Seller and ask what he will do about it

Next time look for Factory sealed. It ensures brand new and untouched. Try opening a dispute with PayPal because the seller did not match his item criteria to the item he was selling to you. It can take days to resolve but it s worth a shot.

Here is an easy one: buisness days? -

I bought one pair of vans originals from Vans.com yesterday(saturday) and i paid with 2 day express shipping. when will my shoes be here?(and i live in California, just north of san fransisco)

Only count business days ... Monday thru Friday... as that s the only days for delivery service to and from a company. This usually means a purchase on Saturday goes out on Monday and would arrive on Wednesday.I hope this helps!

tomorrow for sure because there is no mail on sunday plus 2 business days from yesterday would be monday anyway

Macys is not easy for teens? -

- Well I m planning on applying to macy s. I have experience since I worked at A F. I m planning on leaving because they are paying at a low rate. - I m going in person to Macy s in New York City. I want to make a good impression. I really need this job that I am applying for. I want a position to be a sales associate. - Should I speak with the Human Resource manger and tell him It would be an honor if I could possibly get a position to work with your company ? or after applying inperson should I just leave? Please be informative. age 18 (Male)

Unless you are applying for management you won t be talking to the HR manager, ever, for anything. You give them your application and you wait for one of the HR employees to call you in for an interview. They should be hiring temporary help right now for the christmas rush.

Do the work at home websites actually work? Whats the catch? -

I would really like to know because it sounds really interesting.

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people

Some do and some don t. Things I look for in a business are free or low cost to join, free or low cost to run, some level of training and/or support, a website or information on how to create one, and a simple duplicatable business success system. The company and people should support and train you because when you make money they make money. I really like businesses that can be run part time, from home, and online.

Some people tend to think that if you get a stay at home job, all you have to do is join so so website and you will start seeing cashflows automatically. LOL. It s not so! It is called Work at home. Do your research because there are systems that works but you do have to work it. I am slowly but surely creating an income from home with a team building company. If you would like more information, feel free to email: lyang@dynamicincomesolutions.org

I am in a home business I really like. It s one of the cheapest businesses you can run ($19.95/mo) and you can easily save hundreds every month at over 175,000 stores. You can make great money referring people to the club or join just to save on merchandise and food.If you want to learn more, please go to:swiftcash.myworldresults.com

Can Someone open the SAME buiness in my office space? -

I am renting space in an office that has about 5 small offices in one room. I do Brazilian Travel Visas, and he is an immigration lawyer, but saw that I do Brazil Visas, and now he is doing Brazil Visas, and also uses the same address and Suite as me. and close to the same name as my business.

Probably legal unless something is written into your lease forbidding it.

What is the business to go into right now? -

I am wanting to start my own business in the next couple of years and I m wondering what kind of business would be best to go into right now. I m interested in a few different things, open to new ideas. I originally wanted to get into advertising/marketing, then i thought maybe a salon or restaurant. Retail sounds simple but once I startedlooking into things, it seems like it would be the easiest thing to fail. Anyways, just lookin for some thoughts, suggestions, and hopefully some well informed advice. Thanks everyone!

Starting something from home always has much less overhead and the convenience of working the hours you want to work. You can also start part-time while keeping your income from a job while you build it up. In addition to the overhead, a brick and mortar business requires that you or someone staff it during set business hours. Feel free to contact me if you d like more ideas.

Work in a few stores that do what you want to do.Go there and keep your eyes open, both as to the stock they sell (where did they get it, how much, mark-up, shrinkage, sales, etc...) and their sales technique (if any). Learn what they do right (and wrong) Keep notes.Rinse and repeat until you have a good idea of the industry. Get a network of like minded people. Discuss ideas with your network.

You can try transation processing or merchat accounts you get $500.00 for a new customer that needs equipment and 1 1/2 % every month on their total card sales!Check out this website http://www.bankcardempire.com/359792
