What to name our photography business? -

So me and my two other friends thought of doing photography business, so we named it SF CAMERAWORKS. We are super young, but our photos are beyond than anyone could possibly imagine that a 15 year old and 19 year old photographer could do. anyway , we did a promotion of group photography, its the cheapest price a photographer would offer. So we in need of a superb, eye catching name, so that our business could move on. a fresh new name.

You need something catchy but proffessional. try something short and cute or use a word that is special to you.

How about running a competition in your area through your local newspapers, or with local secondary schools/colleges etc to get all the locals to come up with a name.That way you get free PR in the local newspapers, school/college newsletters etc both announcing the competition in the first place and then announcing the winner, perhaps with a photo of you handing the competition winner their prize (which doesn t have to be expensive - how about an MP3 player for a tenner?) and if you get photographed with the winning name/logo being held up too then it gets it in front of people right from the start. then once they start to see your business up and running they will already be familiar with the logo/name etc and your business will have instant credibility.This is just an idea - adapt it at will!

Is Amway Global legit? -

I have a friend who wants me to attend a meeting. I already have a full time job, but he says you can do this at night out of your house for 5-10hrs a week and make extra money. It is working for a company called amway global. And supposedly I ll be able to quit my job after being with this company for about a year. Amway Global supplies everything from toilet paper, to toothbrushes, to diapers...practically anything to larger companies. To me it sounds like a scam and I was wondering if the meeting was worth my time. Has anyone else heard of Amway Global?? I work 65 hrs a week and do not want to spend the little time off I have in a bogus meeting. PLEASE HELPPPPP

Amway is a company which has been around for 50 years and had $8+ billion in sales for 2008.

Amway global is not a scam.However, if you do not have time to run a business or do not have the temperment to cold call people and try to sell them toilet paper, toothbrushes, laundry soap, etal, don t go.Somebody at Amway has to be the one actually SELLING product. Not everyone can be a manager.

don t even bother. it is a deceptive multi level marketing scheme where only your upline/team leader makes profit from suckering people who don t do their research are are generally gullible. i had a friend who went into that all fired up but eventually quit after 3 years of not making any real money. all the money you make you spend on out of pocket expenses like learning material and events. the real way uplines make money is by selling you the learning tools NOT by buying the over priced products online which you will have to pay shipping for.

Any type of service job is good to generate quick cash. You can actually get a part time job cleaning tables or dishes at a restaurant, vacuuming cars at the local carwash, or delivering pizza or chinese food. Don t be embarrassed. I delivered pizza to my boss house when I was 25 and working full time as a software developer. He was impressed with my work ethic and ended up giving me a raise and promotion a few months later. If you need quick cash, post on craigslist that you re offering labor and looking for odd jobs. You should quickly be able to get a few hundred dollars doing yard work, moving furniture, painting -- whatever. I ve done that before too.

I m only 15, but what i have done is added up all my change that i have had for yeas. then swapped it for notes at the bank which gave me ��140 to spend. then i sold my old phones to those recycle thing and used a compare website to get the most money, and i sold some stuff that i didnt want in my room anymore. i have got around ��210, its ok seeing as i dont have a job. its not much but just to give u some ideas

Not in most states. Usually the laws only say you have to be paid overtime if you work more than 40 hours in a week. Some states don t always say even that.Check your own state s Web site to find out for sure what the laws are where you live.

I am not even going to touch the idea of someone that is running a website that teaches others how to improve their site ranking etc coming here to ask this particular question.I do have one piece of advice though, you may want to fix all the broken links and misspellings before you start trying to drive people to your site. No sense getting people to your site if it does not work or look professional. Richard
