I have tried many of these work at home adds only to find out that all of them are scams. They have hidden fees that are charged to your account every month. I am looking to do some online work on the side to bring in a little extra money but what is legit out there.
You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do. In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online
Most programs are not scams. There are tons of opportunities out there on the Net, some require start up costs an some claim that it is free to join. Do not get frustrated when trying to find an opportunity that best matches your talents. I personally have tried many different things before finding something suitable that worked. Even though I did find a good opportunity, there were some issues that I had to work out like transitioning from an employee who was getting paid for my time at a job to an Entrepreneur who is paid for his efforts. Before resuming your search, here are a few things to think about:1- How much time do you have to spend each day working from home?2- How much money do you want to make (realistically) each month?3- How serious are you about making income? What I mean is how long will you persist before choosing to quit if your results do not come as fast as you expect them to?There are many legit opportunities out there but you must use your commons sense and review everything even the fine print. Many offers will have check marks that are already clicked that will make you spend unnecessary money on things you do not need. Make sure to use read everything. Most importantly, use your gut. Some people do make a lot of money (5 or even 6 figures) online BUT they most likely have paid a lot of time and energy to learn their skills by experience.
It is unfortunate that you have been victimized by scams. The problem is that, like you, there are many people who are very much in financial distress trying very hard to make money, and their degree of desperation makes them a perfect victim for the scammers. The hard truth, and one that is quite difficult for most people to accept, is that there are simply no legitimate online jobs; they are all scams or time wasters.Still, the sheer number of people looking for easy money online make for a steady stream of victims for these scammers, that s why they continue to exist.
