Client got away without paying us. It cheeses me off.? -

My husband did a $2500 job for a client who them went under. The thing is the parent company is still going strong and has a flashy website etc. It really upsets me. It is all with the company receivers now etc, but the chance of us getting anything is zero. Some other poor sole lost $20,000. What would you do apart from warn others about them? They are in another state.

Don t feel bad this world feels like everybody is out for their own. I had a company I put 2.6 years into building they owed me 8k likely 30k to date. We just move on we live and learn.

If you let it cheese you off too much, you re in the wrong line of work.I have a $6,500 debt to me that is more than 450 days old.I have an $8,000 debt to me that is 375 days old.

You could always try and submit your invoice to the parent company or one of it s subsidiaries Depending on how big they are they, they may have poor controls around approving invoices.

You could always sue them, but it s business, sometimes it happens.

Work from home please help? -

Does anyone know any save job that I could do from home that s not a scam I ve seen lot s of them and you have to pay etc anyway if anyone is doing something worth while please let me know if not that I don t want to work I do is that I have a newborn and that s why I can t leave her yet and would like this opportunity to do something from to and if it works out great. Thanks

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

I totally understand your situation because I quitted my job after I have my first born baby! Anyways, currently I am working at home with a program that is not costing much and in there teach me all the ways that I dont need to use any extra penny and helps me to earn quite a bit for now! But you need to stick to do your work after you learn then you will see results!! I am quite enjoy doing it right now as everything is kinda free!! Check this out at http://www.nomoneyaffiliatesystem.com/ and I love to share my experience with you if you want to talk more about it! :) Good luck!

I don t know what a save job is. I have heard of people working from home as medical transcirptionists. A medical transcriptionist listens to doctor dictated audio files and types out what they say. The audio files are emailed to you at home and you email back the typed files. According to the US Department of Labor, there are over 100,000 people who do this. Not all of them work from home but a good majority of them do. Training is required so that is something to consider. A lot of the transcriptionists that I know trained at Career Step (http://www.careerstep.com/wah/?uid=a1403) It is a really good course. Approved by AHDI. If you go to their site, they have an online demo so you can see what their training is like and what material is covered. Otherwise you could do daycare from home, or make something and sell on ebay or in craft shows. Doggie sit? Whatever you choose, I hope it all works out for you!

I can show you a way that a one-time out of pocket expense of only $27 dollars USD could earn you enough to pay all your monthly bills and create some extra cash from the comfort of your home.Visit: www.2plus7.com/imjustme0502, there are 3 (90) second videos on the left side, view all three. Read the testimonies to the bottom (also, they can be translated into 12 different languages). We are in over 70 countries and everything is done online. Send me a message with questions you have and I will answer them for you. I have an 11 month old so I can relate to why you want to stay at home! Do you have a girl or boy?

This is truly a wonderful question! I hope someone answers this!

Working minimum rage? -

how long would it take to gain 1000 dollars by workin full time?

You should be able to make that in a month, maybe a little more, assuming you do NOTHING but save every single penny of it.

That depends on what the minimum wage is where you live.Whatever that minimum wage is, divide it into 1000. That s how many hours you would need to work to make that much money.Full time is 40 hours per week. So divide 40 into the number of hours you need to work, and that s how many weeks it would take.Of course, your employer will be taking taxes and deductions out of your pay, so it will really take longer than that to earn the whole thousand.

Why would a staffing agency want to know if Ive ever worked or am previously registered with another agency? -

I m filling out an application for one staffing agency, and it s asking if I ve ever worked with or am still registered with another staffing agency. Why would they want to know this? Would it be a disadvantage if I AM registered with another agency?

Typically, they don t like it if you are, because they see the potential for less profit, and typically give you less offers because they don t feel you re worth their time. well someone else is looking for jobs for her too, so she s not worth the trouble you d think it would be the opposite... that they d work harder for your money because they have competition.... naa... these people are lazy by nature and generally don t care about you personally. so... i d answer it with disgretion.. you can say no... and they ll never know.... you can say yes and potentially be shunned... but for what it s worth, my girlfriend uses two temp agencies when she s furloughed from her normal job once a year and they don t seem to mind much...... good luck

check your registrations or agreements. some agencies have no-compete clauses or conflict of interest policies. some may not allow you to work with other agencies at the same time. if you completed a no-compete clause, make sure that it does not extend past your last day of employment, because it may mean that you are not allowed to work for a competitor for a specific period of time, even if you are no longer working with the original agency!
