Getting customers to come to my live music club? -

I have a live music club that is a fabulous venue. Great atmospher, great colors, great live music...all of the customers who come love it. The problem is I do not have enough people coming in. I have a Twitter and Facebook page, do some local advertising. Over half of the people who come to my club do so because they simply walked by. Hi,If you are buying artwork (an image) from someone you must find out if:1. The original image is not a copy or something that was modified from any original design.2. Are you buying it for a limited use or full rights where YOU own the artwork (providing it s not already been sold to others)?Check very carefully before buying any artwork. Be sure that the design IS original with no creativity taken from other copyrighted artwork. The reason I state this is, I purchased ($600 in 2003) original artwork for a 1934 Ford. Beautiful and colorful.Started posting it on my t-shirts and got a little friendly notice that I was in violation of copyright. Seems that Ford, after 30+ years of allowing printers the freedom to create better artwork than them, decided to invoke their copyright priveleges, which they have a right to.To apply for their license, I had to prove that I had $1,000,000 (yes, million) in liability insurance plus prove that I could wholesale over $50,000 worth of product a year. That s just to apply for a license. Needless to say I dropped the idea and spent $600 for a training aide.The point is, be careful about copyright. There are companies that surf the net daily checking for anything that can even come close to copyright infringement.By the way, as ridiculous as this may seem the word Danger has been copyrighted ONLY for use on t-shirts and certain garments.Hope this helps,Fred
