If your product is information rather than something physical, then it s damn near impossible to prevent someone from transcribing or printing the info. You can try to format your data with some kind of DRM (Digital Rights Management) scheme, but those tools cost money to license and use, and often cause compatibility problems for end users (your customers) which would drive them away.If you want to protect your product then make sure you have a legal copyright on it. If you have a valid copyright, you can then use weasels -- er, I mean lawyers -- to stop violators and even recover damages for violations of your copyright. However ... if for example all you re selling is the compilation of pre-existing information, like compiling a booklet of info you scraped off the internet, then you don t have a copyright leg to stand on.Hope this helps!
well, as i see it your only options are 1) do not accept the return, 2) accept the return and refund money, 3) have buyer contact post office to claim insurance money or 4) give partial refund
What you should be looking for are the lowest rates possible particularly on check cards and rewards cards as they are the most common cards you will encounter. Some merchant account providers break their rates up by card type allowing you to potentially get a better deal if you do accept a lot of certain card types. This doesn t guarantee you will save money but if you have either very low ticket or high ticket items it could very well make a difference for you.As far as providers go, look on eBay. Yes, eBay. The competition for business is VERY high there resulting in really good deals. Just make sure you shop all of them and requests all of their fees in writing. Some them make up for their low fees with hidden fees. You want to be sure to avoid those providers.
I m no expert but I d think yes. Look deeply into it.

If you want to Create a Website, and this is your first time. Then you might as well start learning how to hand-code, this is not as hard as it seams. Many people have reported that it only toke them around a few days at most, to learn the basics (HTML + CSS).HTML and CSS is not that Complicated, and there are many sites who got Tutorials and References which will be very helpful, both for beginners as well as experienced web-designers. You will find one such sites at http://brugbart.com/As for hosting you wont get any definite response, but you likely will get lots of useful opinions. There is a website called http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ where you are more likely to find what you are looking for, this site is a forum that specializes in the hosting area.It should however be mentioned, that there are lots of places where you can host your website for free, with good results. These places are mostly ideal for smaller personal sites, not for company sites. There is a smaller list included below, be sure to check them out.http://viviti.com/http://www.jimdo.com/http://www.tripod.lycos.com/You should also consider the payed hosting options, i also included a small list of those below. Check with webhostingtalk for more information, because there way to many aspects to consider when choosing a host, and there s not a best for all solution . The below are shared hosts, fine for most people and companies.http://one.com/http://gearworx.net/http://www.bluehost.com/http://www.hostway.com/I would recommend that you sign up with adsense, but its highly recommended that you got your own domain first. You also need to carefully read their Terms, and you need to maintain a privacy policy on your website. If you can t build the site on your own, then its recommended that you hire a web-developer, or make use of one of the many free CMS solutions.
yes you do.good luck!
Nothing against yahoo! or the stores, but the templates look drab and boring. They re cookie cutter sites look like a lot of others. Go check out Volusion.com I went there and have never been happier!
Yahoo will do it but not your best solution.Find a hosting company that offers cPanel backend. From there you can automatically install osCommerce - an open source ecommerce solution that will meet your needs perfectly. For more on building and marketing your website check out www.zedbiz.com or your local chamber of commerce for ecommerce consultants.
It does but Yahoo can be expensive in the long run. There are a lot of carts out there to choose from.I personally went with creloaded.com but would probably go with magento.com if I had to do it again. Do some more homework to look at their bells and whistles to see what works best for what you are looking to do, search engine optimization, yada yada.
