It depends on the fakes.Example, if you sell an item that has the Nike name or logo on it and it is not made by Nike you can get sued by Nike. It is worse if you say it is made by Nike.If you sell an item that looks like a Nike item but there is no name on it and you don t identify the manufacturer you may be able to pull it off as a look alike item.

for actual counterfeits: ebay will shut you down very quickly. the real company can sue you and/or complain to law enforecement.

my sister works at an afterschool program in SC (anderson county, if it makes a difference). It s small and has maybe 10 employees. She has been working there since the beginning of the year. you need to look up all the engineering needs of a radio station. you need a transmitter tower. you need a sound engineering board. you need studio mike equipment. you need computers; you need a phone system for callers to call in. lots of stuff you need in the actual studio. investors will be difficult to get if you cant answer the important questions. what is your program format going to be? music? talk radio? if music, you need a music library. if talk is the format, you need to sign talk show hosts to contracts. a talk show format is going to be a mix between national hosts and local hosts. national programs will pay you a fee to carry their show. you re limited to the fee, because majority of the advertisement time will be time that they are selling around their program. which leaves reduced commercial time for the local station, which is you. now if you run the national shows, you can fill up your schedule during the week, by running repeats of the national talk shows, and the repeats will be mostly advertising time that you can sell. and you will probably owe a small fee to that national show to run their repeats. we ve touched on engineering and equipment; on-air talent; on-air content. so far we re up to a fairly large budget already. bottomline, you need a good saleman who can sell local ad time. in the beginning, you re going to have to try to sell ad-time without making promises to your customers of any ratings numbers. you basically have no ratings. its a new station. The card is printed with all the names of 3 of my stores and what type of goods are sold in each, each store name has a box next to it and I make a check mark in the box in bright red ink showing which one they bought from. I certainly hope you made a copy of the correspondance stating when they could pick up their crap. Were they there on the day of the pre-arranged appointment? NO they came the wrong day and that is NOT your problem. If their stuff is being stored on your property it may be yours now. Check with a local attorney most first visits are free and if the property has been in your posession for 60 days past when they wre to pick it up in most states you are free to dispose of it however you see fit. Ok, here is an honest answer. I don t think your business idea will generate a large number of sales right away. It will take time to develop a customer base and will probably require a lot of direct marketing to the businesses. Many businesses now don t pay for coffee or collect sunshine club money to purchase coffee and supplies, so the duration between reorders will be important. Because it will take time you are going to need working capital, money to keep the business running before it starts to make a profit. Which means do not spend all your money in start-up fees, because you will need lots of cash on hand. Lastly, in order to prepare food legally you will need to get board of health approval. Your home kitchen will probably not pass board of health regulations, not because it isn t clean, but because you don t have the necessary equipment. For example do you have a commercial grade three compartment sink? That is necessary to clean and sanitize your equipment prior to use. If you are going to make a large capital investment to upgrade your kitchen be aware that the financial risk is greater, because your start-up costs will be greater. I don t think your idea is bad, but you need to do some clear thinking about your finances, the size of your market and what would be an acceptable amount of risk.

The state insurance commission, or board labor/wages. In Tallahassee, FL last I knew. I know some hosp can bill up to a year later, don t know why they get away with this, cause they start sending over due notices withing 30 days or so. Keep copies or dispute it in small claims court.

If you never paid for the service they can bill you more than twice. If you paid anything toward this charge/service, and they didn t reduce the amount you owe, then you should call the better business bureau in your area and register a complaint.
