The problem is I want delivery confirmation but it says the envelope has to be more than 3/4 thick in order to get delivery confirmation. Can I claim it as a package instead so I could use both? Would thet not ship it and return it to me? Any advice? I don t really want it to be bulky since it s just a book and I m trying to save on shipping.

Sounds like a great idea, but the only problem is that you must know how to drive traffic or else no one will ever visit your site. Plus, you have to have a lot of inventory in order to support a site and keep people coming back. Good Luck!

Why do businesses not take money when power is out? -

This happened in the shopping center where I work, The power went out some shops just stayed closed, and some kept track of the money and everything themselves.In major businesses and stores where evreything is electronic, it s not as easy as looking on a tag adding everything up, then accounting for taxes. Those items that were sold are still in the system may not be accounted for later once power comes back on. So sometimes it s just easier not to take any money at all.

Their accounting may all be done electronically, so accepting money or any sales would create a mess accounting wise. In stores like walmart their inventory is set up in a way that as soon as an item is checked out, there is another one being taken off of a shelf at a warehouse to replace the one you just bought. If there is no power then this would not happen.

LLC is usually the best option for the type of business you are talking about. You could incorporate, but that is a huge pain in the butt to deal with: another level of tax reporting (though not taxes, if you are a Sub-Chapter S corp.), reporting to the state, state excise taxes, annual report filing fees, etc. etc. Sub-S status does have some advantages, though. For instance, as long as you pay yourself a reasonable salary for your work (you need to be on payroll if you have a corp, you don t just take draws) then anything left over at the end of the year does not get the double self-employment tax; it just gets taxed at your income tax rate. Also, since you are an employee of the corp, you can lay yourself off if business gets bad and get unemployment compensation. States usually have stricter standards when an owner/manager of a Sub-S corp lays himself off, but if it is legitimate you should have no problem. I am not sure the extra bother and expense is worth it unless you are a very seasonal business and expect to lay yourself off every year (like if you live in a resort area of some kind.) An LLC gives you the same level of liability protection that a corporation does, without all the corporate paperwork and (sometimes) the state fees. Keep in mind, though, that neither the LLC or a corporation will be able to get a loan without you co-signing for it, and anything that you personally do that is fraudulent or illegal will still attach liability to you. If you have any questions about this, I would get in touch with a lawyer. Keep in mind, though, that lawyers tend to like corporations for some reason. I think they like to make money writing up articles of incorporation and doing your filings.

You should save up more and get a genuine, original guitar. Stratocasters and Telecasters are good, but they have to be original Fender made in USA or at least made in Mexico. I added an e-mail address so they could ask questions, without feeling any sales pressure. I love pics. Nothing (at least in my line of work) is worse than getting excited about something and then feeling let down when you actually see it. I gave my address as well, because I wanted the prospective client to be able to see the neighborhood they would be moving their mothers to. An excellent library, moderate weather, nice restaurants, and lots of parks is what I look for. I lived in Everette, Washington and enjoyed it.

The first thing I look for in a place to move to is good weather. I currently live in Florida and it s too hot here. I wouldn t want to move to Seattle because it s too cold for me there.The other things that make a city livable for me are:1. Convenience. How far is it from other places I like to go? Is there a major airport close to it? Does it have all the stores and restaurants I like?2. Friendly people. It is much easier to make new friends in some towns than in others. In some places, the people are so cold that you just wouldn t enjoy living around them for long. 3. Cost of living. Unless you are independently wealthy, this will make a HUGE difference to your quality of life. You can rent a three bedroom house where I live for less than $1,000 per month. In certain parts of Hawaii that same house would rent for $3,000 per month. Talk about a budget buster!4. Proximity to family. If you are close to your family, you probably won t be happy living very far from them over the long term.5. Access to medical care. This is less important if you are young and healthy than if you are old and sick.
