If some one reported a business to the BBB...? -

If I sold something that does not have to do with my business and did not sell it under my business name does that mean that a person can still report me under my business name to the BBB? What I sold was not through my business it was through my personal email address and didnt have any thing to do with my business what so ever if so what do i do to clear all this up?

Just send your explanation to the BBB with the full explanation. Let them know it was a PERSONAL transaction, not the business, and the other guy is trying to drag your business name through mud. They may or may not believe you. Me and my husband owned a flooring business together. we would install flooring into people s homes. We are going through a divorce, but the hearing isn t until december on when we decide what to do with everything. We haven t decided if we were going to continue to run the business as it has been for the past 5 years as 50/50 or if we are going to split it up and sell it. His mother went through all the business property and whited out my name on all the paperwork. I know that s not legal of her to do... but is there a name for what she did? She is interfering with a business she has no rights to at all.Also she keeps telling him to take all the tools and tell me I can keep the business NAME and then he can start his own business under another name. Well if he took all the tools, I wouldn t be able to continue to run this business as it was. that would be considered theft of this business s tools wouldn t it? I am not looking for legal advice. What should I set the Buy it Now price of the Chanel purse Im selling on Ebay? -

Im selling a Chanel purse on ebay that s never been used. I made it an auction, with the starting price at $450. The original price I bought it for was $990, but I m not trying to sell it for that much. But theres about two days left, and the price is $475 now. One person messaged me today asking if they could do a Buy it Now becuase they were really interested. That made me really excited but how much should I make them pay? Definitely more than $475, but if I kept it as an auction it may go way up. What do you think is a good price without ripping me off?

I would let the auction run its course, as the 1st answerer said most buyers bid in the final minutes/seconds.Tell your potential buyer that it wouldnt be fair to the other bidders/watchers they are welcome to bid. Nothing like a good old bidding war LOL.However if you did want to offer this buyer a BIN, ask the buyer what they are willing to offer? Then I think you can cancel any existing bids then revise the listing with the BIN (I think, never done it, always let my auctions run)Good luck

Hi,If you have bids on your item then you can t add a buy it now feature. I would let it ride as most bids come in during the last few seconds. When you ship the item, being it s over $200.00 you need to insure with signature required.

Question regarding invoices? -

I live in a Australia, so I am not sure if this question is the same worldwide.I do the book keeping for my sister and brother in laws work and we have asked the accountant how long do you keep the invoices, receipts for, we have been told it is either 4 years or 7, does anybody know how long?

Every location has different rules. .Ask the accountant again about the 4 or 7 year retention period.You might search the Goverments website for the same answer.
