Check out the history of AOL. They merged with Time-Warner back in Jan 2000 and the combined companies were worth $360 Billion. You need to go back to whatever website you ordered the books from and contact the company. They have to respond to you. If not, you have to contact the credit card company, bank or whatever you re using. I don t know what country you re in, so I don t know the laws.It sounds as if you got signed up for some kind of subscription or something. But definitely look into it! The google thing is a scam too. If you are paying to work it is a scam.You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people

Anytime a work at home job offer requires that you pay them money for upfront costs, ie processing, training, materials, it s a very big red flag indicating the job is not legitimate. You should never have to pay to work for a company. Any legitimate company will conduct normal interviews and applicant screening.
