If you were going to start a business what kind would it be? -

any business which I know about, and have some decent experience in.. plus the profit margin has to be decent covering costs, and my bills.. It must be a business/ product, that the market/ the customers in my area needs.. and low competition or not tough competition as well.. investment money, must be the lowest and with minimum low capital as initial investment... and should have a back-up money for the tough times, low down market times.. etc.... So that would be the business i would like to start with.. good luck and have a great day ..

Whatever business you choose to do, you need to know how to market it. Internet marketing can be easy but it can also be really difficult to make lots of money unless you know what you are doing online. An offline business, again you need to know how to market otherwise no-one will visit your store or business. There are lots of organisations that offer free support to people starting up business and all they ask is you come with an idea.Good luck with whatever you come up with. Here is the link to someone who will teach you everything you ever need to know about internet marketing for a really low cost. You can also host all your domains with this site and this is included in the cost.

The business i would like to set up is going to be working with dogs. I can invest in 15 Employees aswell as myself and manage there Money , in which they can work on pacific hours i will give to them. This will be a small business. In this Little Business it will be called Dog Massage . For our employees will make a profit for working with us and come out with there paydays every week. That will be my job yes.

if i didn t have a particular interest in a certain field, then i would go for food, everybody has to eat, its a long term money maker

don t you think we d be starting that business instead of giving the idea to someone else? ;)

If USPS had quot;processedquot; my package at 4:30AM this morning, will I get it today? -

Just antsy and wondering. This morning at 4:30am, USPS processed a package for me in my home town (tallahassee). What are they chances they deliver it out today?

Keep checking the status. If it hasn t changed to out for delivery yet you ll probably have to wait until monday. god luck.

They wont deliver it unless u had paid like that $24 thing for one day shipping or overnight shipping. If not then either the 2 day or 3 day shipping it shall be 5 is right out and 4 though shalt not be but then thou proceed directly to 3 and lob they holy hand grenade toward they recipient who shall snuff it that has placed thy order. LOLEdit: you did not say what type of service you got ie: overnight, 1 day, 2 day, standard 3 day you must say this stuff i mean really they not going to make it overnight for price of 3 day service. Till then i cant say but i will say ive did A LOOOT of shipping with UPS so i know them and Fedex also very good.

Can you tell me about Google AdSense? -

How does it work? Realistically how much money can you make? Has anyone here had any success with it?

I wrote a really descriptive article about it on Associated Content, link is in the source.

Admin Support Help =)? -

Why Business and admin support is needed in organisations

You don t say what size your business is, but if it is really small, then there are possibilities of outsourcing to specialists (also very often small businesses themselves).

I have a great name for a clogne,body wash,even a drink that will market itself.Can I sell that to a company? -

Basically since I dont have the funds to make a scent of my own or produce mass quantaties of the products is there anyway I could put a patent or copywrite the name for the cologne , body wash and drink?

You can not patent something that does not exist. You can t even copy-write the name if it does not pertain to something tangible. You are talking about an idea, and ideas are not subject to patient or copy-write laws.

If it s not patented, once the recipe is out there anybody can take it. So you don t want to share. Also, remember that taking a scent or cologne to a large company thinking they ll never figure out how to copy it is not real wise either. They have entire R D departments that do nothing but take apart scents all day. So, what you might want to do is get a patent on the product, a copyright on the label, and then start selling it small and work your way up. If you sell it to the right person, or gift it to the right person you may get a foot in the door with a cosmetics company, but they don t actively seek stuff from individuals.

Apply for a copyright, then shop it around. It s just like web squatters who register every single domain name they can think of and then hold you up to the wall when you have an idea that a certain domain name would be perfect for. However, copyrighting a trade name is not a slimy practice, like the one I just outlined.

You would have to invent something in order to get a patent. but just for the name. yes you can have it copy righted. which i would suggest you do anyways be for you even give out the name. this way no one can steal your idea. good luck. hope this helps some.

you should get a patent on it before you take it to a company or they might just use it without paying you. it happened to Kramer in an episode of Seinfeld.

Yes! Trademark first and then sell sell sell!! Even if a small business likes it you can sell it for like 3-4x s the trademark cost. Yielding, oh, I don t know, maybe $1500. Sounds worth it to me.

yeah, i think it costs to (c) things, but you should do that. Sounds like a good idea.I don t know if it ll work, but go for it!

Probably not. They have highly paid teams of marketing personnel that understand the psyche of their target demographic. If you made your own cologne first... maybe.

go to an inventing website and talk to someone there.

Are there any companies that made it big without a high school diploma or a college degree? -

i know facebook did, they make 100,000 a year and they are college dropouts.

Face-book is worth over a billion dollars. I saw the young man on Oprah, very shy and modest. Didn t go out and spend his money either. when he did spend he spent on a couch. I thought those kids finished college. WOW, they did extremely well for themselves!

As I recall, Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard.Ok, you have to either be very smart or have wealthy connected parents (i.e., a Legacy) to get INTO Harvard.

How many flyers per year (roughly))? -

im doing coursework and it is about how i would build up a small Business, i was just wondering roughly how many flyers a small Businesss posts per year? thanks .

Depends on product and target audience , which you haven t supplied. If it is a small product with a low value (like car washing / interior cleaning for 10 or window cleaning for 2 per window) then about 200 flyer s a week might attract a worth while amount of business. Window cleaning - 2 per window average 6 windows per job. Total product 12.1000 A6 flyer s about 45 (see website below) so about 7 a week. So 7 per week advertising material but then someone to deliver 200 flyer s to 200 houses each week of 50 weeks in a year. Ill let you work out the rest but for this product as an example 200 per week over 50 weeks of the year (not full 52 due to holidays) would be 450 in advertising material, good value for a small business.

Too many.
