I want to open an adult entertainment business, one like Dave and busters where adults can relive their youth!? -

One where adults can play ping-pong, pool, board games, watch sports, eat good food and various video games. What do you think? Would adults want to play these games?

pay to play board games and ping pong? doubtful - they will stay home if they want to play video games other than arcade games (which cost a lot of money) and are really not played as much as they were back in the 1980 s - pool tables always make some money in barsDave and Busters probably cost a fortune to open - they charge $2-4 to play their video games - a lot more than your typical arcade - it s not worth it to me to go there for that expense

That is called a Sports Bar, my friend. But yes, if you can market it right and there are not Alot of bars in your area, you could prolly be successful.

Where do I post idea for a moovie? -

I want to post an idea for a movie. I want to post it to disney, but I can t find anywhere to post it. Can anyone help me? And please post the exact location and make sure it s not fake. Thx in advance.

You have to be very careful where you post your movie idea because there is a chance that someone could steal your idea and claim it as their own! There are sites online where you can make your pitch to various people in the business without having to worry about them stealing your idea. Find the legitimate ones first before you start posting! I also know that there are a few good books out there that will be able to help you as well!

Do you ever feel guilty about wiping out a business rival? -

I had someone in my area who started his business before I did. He insulted me the first time I met him, then he was friendly for a bit and now he insults me againThe truth is I charge less because I don t have a family and don t need as much to live on.Now I doubt he can make a living anymore, but I feel guilty... should I?

No not at all,,I do it via my work,,

I have no problem doing this if the other guy isn t a decent person. Otherwise I might feel a little guilty, but it s still business, and you do what you can to get ahead. I m doing the same exact thing. : ) I do IT work. I was at an office that had called me to fix some problems. Their former IT guy happened to come by (i don t know what he came for) and started talking to me. He asked what I charge, and I told him. (I m not cheap, I just undercut the average going rates a little) He started laughing and told me he charges double, so I m no threat to him and that I m a joke. He went on to say I m not a real professional.Well, I ve taken a few more of his former clients due to the word of mouth from the first one. And this isn t only because of the price, they are genuinely happier with my work than his. If you do good work and charge as much as you need to, there s no need to worry about the competition s well being. We re human and can t help but feel bad for the misfortune of others, but you can t let that stop you from thriving.

It is very understandable why you feel guilty. He has a family to feed and you feel like you are going to make it so that he won t be able to feed his family. The insults are not why you are doing what you are doing but it help your conscience. Before you undercut him on price to the point that you run him out of business, ask yourself this. Would you have more business than him if you charged the same? If it was just about quality and service, would you still be taking his business. If you can honestly answer yes to that question, then you have nothing to feel guilty about.

Dont feel guilty!! If he had the chance he would surely do you out of business. Business is business - not personal. You have not look out for yourself in this big world. Keep doing it!!!

That s the way it is. You re not killing him, you re just telling him he should make his money at something else.

What are some good ways to make some money? -

Nothing too elaborate please, just a couple of teens trying to earn some money for a school fundraiser.Do you have any good ideas? Please no baby-sitting, car wash, yard work etc. ideas. And it doesn t have to be like a stand at my school or anything, I just have to show them the profit.Thank you!

I m not sure how crafty you are, but you could try to make and sell jewelry. You can buy beads and other supplies at any craft store, and I m sure you could even find some on sale. You can also buy a book to get you started on beading (or I bet there s free instructions available online). With the holidays coming up, people might be interested in buying necklaces, bracelets, and earrings as gifts. If the jewelry looks attractive and well-made, you could sell it to family members, neighbors, or students at your school.Another idea (if your school does not have policies against it) would be to buy candy bars in bulk and sell them at a profit to students during your lunch break. Since the weather is turning colder, perhaps you could even set up a hot chocolate stand! You could do this at lunch time or perhaps at a school football game. You d just need cups, hot chocolate packets, and plenty of hot water. Maybe your school cafeteria (or church or some other organization you or your parents belong to) has those large hot water dispensers used by caterers -- perhaps they d let you borrow them.Good luck!

well my friend did this. get some money to start. like 30$. buy lots of popular candy. if it cost 1.00$ change the price to 1.50$. go door to door and say im selling candy for a fundraiser for my .. team. then they wil buy the candy giving you a 1.00 profit every 2 candies. at the end you will have 45$. you can keep going untill you have alot you can also change the price to how you want it. whatever. but the higher the price of the candy the more profit but less of a chance people will buy

you will need a work permit if you are a minor, the best place to start is with your school s guidance office. If you don t have a work permit, you ll need one. Quite often the counselors can tell you what local employers will hire teens but more realistically they will know of any OPEN job opportunities.thanks bye tc

I would do themes like a middle eastern girls night out pass out flyers and your friends can invite friends, moms, sisters, and so on get a Henna kit and leave a big tip jar out. Good luck!

Why does choices create opportunity cost? -

Homework question?Hint: Define opportunity cost.

Because if you choose to do something, the opportunity cost is what you could have done. So if you go to college and pay 120,000, the opportunity costs are time you could have spent doing something else, money you could have made working a job, etc.

Double major in business and art? -

Is it good to be skilled in math and art. I want to double major in sudio/fine arts and business/finance or economy. I like business and art. ist it valuable to an employer to have a degree in both?

maybe to a museum or an art studio. But business is business and art is interpretive. Now what exactly is your question? Should your majors be Buis and Art? Everyone s majors should be what most closely allows them to better themselves while gaining a possible more marketable advantage on all others. I guess I am saying, that, if the world needs nurses then why study to be a movie critic?

I don t see how you could possibly get accepted by any college wanting to major in two different things like that - there will be very few courses as a business major that will be accepted in an art program - and it would probably take 5-6 yrs minimum to take all the required courses for those two majors

to an employer; nofor self-employment, invaluable!!
