You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

I shot a video with someone and we verbally agreed for me to see the video and approve it before I signed an agreement giving her the right to release it or do whatever she wanted to do with it. The video has shown up throughout the internet and I ve asked for her to remove it because she does not have my written consent or my verbal consent to release the video. She says no and told me to leave her alone.What do I do now?

Can an employer pay her employees like this? -

my sister works at an afterschool program in SC (anderson county, if it makes a difference). It s small and has maybe 10 employees. She has been working there since the beginning of the year. Her pay schedule is: she gets paid for 15 days of work every 30 days. for instance, the first 15 days she worked last month was on her paycheck at the end of that month. the next 15 days she worked last month were on her check at the end of this month. Almost a year of that pay schedule and she s VERY far behind on what she s supposed to be paid. her boss gave her a raise, but she couldn t afford to pay her for the full 15 days with the new raise. so she kept the hourly rate at the new rate, but only paid her for 12 days instead of the 15. She says she can t afford it because she s helping a few families by giving them free after school care. is this legal??? and if she were to quit, would her employer be held responsible for paying her all the back pay ?? and how long should my sister give the employer to pay it all back?? thanks!

What the employer is doing is violating SC daycare regulations on how long he/she can employ someone directly in the care of children without being certified.If she quits, she IS due the money, and if the employer doesnt want to pay, she can turn him/her into the SCDOL and dept of social service. They take this kind of violation VERY seriously.

The health department is in charge of food. they will come and inspect your kitchen and tell you what if anything needs to be done to get it up to code. You will also need a business license. you get that from your town.Also, make sure you re area is zoned for home business or commercial use. Your zoning inspector could also shut you down if you re not zoned for it.

I m 19 and I want to start the process of getting an AM radio station. I know it s will be expensive and you have to be licensed. I also don t plan on being in business until 3 to 4 years down the road. I just want to know where to start after setting up a business plan. Where do I find investors and/or how do I get a loan from a bank? Also how would I be able to calculate the approximate costs of getting off the ground into the airways?

you need to look up all the engineering needs of a radio station. you need a transmitter tower. you need a sound engineering board. you need studio mike equipment. you need computers; you need a phone system for callers to call in. lots of stuff you need in the actual studio. investors will be difficult to get if you cant answer the important questions. what is your program format going to be? music? talk radio? if music, you need a music library. if talk is the format, you need to sign talk show hosts to contracts. a talk show format is going to be a mix between national hosts and local hosts. national programs will pay you a fee to carry their show. you re limited to the fee, because majority of the advertisement time will be time that they are selling around their program. which leaves reduced commercial time for the local station, which is you. now if you run the national shows, you can fill up your schedule during the week, by running repeats of the national talk shows, and the repeats will be mostly advertising time that you can sell. and you will probably owe a small fee to that national show to run their repeats. we ve touched on engineering and equipment; on-air talent; on-air content. so far we re up to a fairly large budget already. bottomline, you need a good saleman who can sell local ad time. in the beginning, you re going to have to try to sell ad-time without making promises to your customers of any ratings numbers. you basically have no ratings. its a new station. Ratings of course, means number of people listening, in case you re not familiar with the term. bottomline, what is the unique format of your radio station? why will people tune in? your investors are the real owners of the station, you re just along for the ride, and your investors can kick you out at any time. You are a hired hand. you better sign a good contract with your investors. a contract that offers you a salary plus a share of profits. a contract that makes you general manager for a specified contractual term that you are obligated to workl there, maybe a five year contract. you better get a job at a radio station, and work your way up. you might be smart enough to do it, but without experience, the investors might not want to invest with you.

i can t tell you where exactly to find such investors/venture capitalists. from what i know it mostly about having connections and networking if you want to go places.if you are planning on getting investments your plan needs to be spot-on, for starters you may want to switch AM for DAB especially if you are talking 4 years later.as for banks it is probably a matter of making an appointment with the bank manager or business consultant or whatever they call themselves.
