How can I create an online store? -

I create homemade pillows and I d like to sell them in my own online store.

You can quickly create an online store to sell your pillows at http://bigcommerce.me

I would recommend http://www.etsy.com its the most popular site for handmade goods and it brings the web traffic that helps. You can set up your own online store but its really tough to build traffic to your brand so start with etsy and test the market when you make x amount of dollars create your own site because its harder then you think.

We are a start up business with a unique product. Trouble is, no one has ever heard of such a product before. -

How does a small start up business decide on which is the best way to advertise their busines? When money is tight and the owners are new to publicizing their business how do they find advice on advertising and/or money for advertising?

Try direct advertising. They have free trials when you can send a thousand emails for free to random people. Then try free classified ads. Also craiglist is a good one.

What are good sites to go to for helpful tips on how to get through a job interview successfully? -

What are good sites to go to for helpful tips on how to get through a job interview successfully?

How about monster.com or any of those job website where your post your resume?I interview people and here is some advice that should seem obvious but to many job seekers it is not. Make sure you are properly presentable. If you are interviewing for a suit and tie type job then look the part. Make sure from top to bottom it is correct. If you can t handle the basics of presenting yourself then do you think I ll be impressed with your enthusiasm, education and experience? Those things don t shine as well if your fingernails are dirty or need to be clipped and your shoes need a shine. Trust me, how you look matters.

Anyway, what you need is to do is some hard work. I would look on Monster.com, craigs list, etc for a job. 1) Look at the job information: Cover Letter: Often jobs will list personality traits they are looking for. These are called buzz words. When you write your cover letter, use some of these buzz words. EXAMPLESThey want Somebody how has lots of energy, you put Energetic. They want somebody creative, you put innovative. The list can go on.2) On the website. while doing your cover letter, go to the website of the people who are hiring. Find out who to address the letter to, and get the address. Also print off a copy of the application.RESUMEInstead of just applying for the job with the same tired old resume format as everyone else, I would do a paper copy. Print it on QUALITY resume paper (that can be found at Office Max). Also print the cover letter on that paper. Also, I suggest getting a box of matching resume folders. They will look sharp and give you a nice touch.Other Stuff:Include in the resume folder your resume, cover letter, full application. Also, some jobs require transcripts and other proof to be hired. I would send a copy of those items as well. This will give you an advantage over the other aplicants

Here s one with different topics, maybe you ll find the topic you re looking for. http://www.gopinoy.com/advice/job-search

Ebay unpaid item case!! Best Answer!!!? -

what happens if i dont pay an item on ebay? This is my first unpaid item, and it said they will open an unpaid item case against me and there may be restricitions on my account? what does this mean?

You bid, you win, you pay. The seller in turn pays listing fees and a final value fee because he had a winner. Now you refuse to pay. The seller cannot get his listing fees back, but can file a non-pay dispute. (Gee, I guess it never occured to you to reimburse the seller the money they are out.)In the best possible world, you cannot bid for 2 weeks at all due to bidding restrictions. In the next best world, the seller filters are all set to prevent you from bidding on their auctions for a month. (Mine are definitely set.)if you get several non-pay strikes, you get kicked off of eBay forever. After all, if you aren t going to pay, you certainly shouldn t be allowed to bid.

What is the best place to sell a domain name? -

I registered www.coolninja.com a while back thinking I could eventually figure out something cool to do with it. Turns out I have no ideas and I d rather focus on my other sites. Instead of letting it expire, I d like to see if I can auction it off. What are the best sites for this? I m on GoDaddy and they have their own auction service. Has anyone sold on here? Are there better one out there? Ebay?Should I build a basic site or something on it first? Share your experiences!

Actually I dont know too much about this sort of thing. But I am trying to sell a website now and I was just introduced to Website Broker. Search for it on google. U would be surprised how much people are ready to pay for websites and domain names.

Can I use Residential Phone service for my business? -

Or is that illegal? i m in California USA. I need to be on the phone pretty often for my business maybe 2,000 minutes per month. A lot of out of state calls, etc.. Vonage has $25/Month for Residential $50/month for business. I call them but their Staff doesn t know anything. Can I get in trouble if I use the Residential for business?thanks!

It s totally fine. Your customer or Vonage or anyone wont know the difference. The difference is going to be in the features that your phone service has. Business accounts have more available features. If you re interested I personally recommend Nextiva and Packet8 over Vonage, as they can more easily scale when you need additional features. But, any of the 3 are good phone services for personal or small business usage.

It s totally fine, don t worry about it.Though at this time I d recommend Phone Power over Vonage. They have some great deals, such as $14.95 a month for unlimited minutes and over 30 free features. Have a lookhttp://voipcenter.onthewebs.com/.
