Yes you can make money, but you don t make very much. My favorite site (the only one I ve found worth while) is swag bucks. How do I overcome managers and employees gossiping about each other including me at a retail store? -

I ve been working at a clothing retail store for about a year now as a part-time. Within a year, there were so many employees and managers that left. I know that since it s a women s clothing store, the employees will gossip about each other. Our store recently got a new co-manager and she s been gossiping about everyone including myself with the other managers. I didn t hear about it before, but the coworkers told me recently. I never spoke about anyone because I believe it s petty. When the others would gossip, I would just nod but I wouldn t say anything about another co-worker. It made me furious however, that I m hearing these things they say about me now and in front of me they are all nice or act nice. Now some of the employees are giving my a cold shoulder when I didn t even say anything. I try my best at work, I can definitely say this for sure, but it s getting to me about all this gossiping. I am more on the quiet side, and I really do not like it if someone is acting distant or cold. What do I do?

Just ignor the happnings, Put a task to your employees and get it compleated with your contributions. this is very comman problem with every one. it might possible that you have not shown your command on any specific skill to earn the respect. Your co-manager is new to your shop. Ask her about her past experiance, just give some respect and get resolved some queries from her. also dont forget to mention your view on the same query and try to convince her about your knowlage in the shop. Your problem can be solved only by team spirit. try to generate the same in your shop. Start it from yourself

Bad economy? Sell a bargain! This economy can make you rich because people are looking for money saving bargains in every category you can think of. People go on ebay and amazon to purchase a bargain for the most part and don t want to pay full retail for anything. You are to sell below retail. Try 20% below the retail price and keep it moving.

I ve been selling on eBay for over 10 years making nice side cash and everything I get is from thrift stores. Especially vintage items. Vintage items , especially certain clothing goes for major bucks on eBay! You can find things at thrift stores for so cheap it s crazy. You might want to check out my book. Be careful on ebay when selling - make sure you don t use the 5 free listings when selling. If your item sells between $40-$500, you ll end up paying more ebay fees than usual!
