I work at an insurace agency and it seems to me a lot of people research things on the internet but do not necessarily purchase on the internet. Is this true with most service based businesses? If you create an easy to use website many people will definitely take advantage of that. I would love to be able to go on a website and be able to pick exact options. Like add a $250 deductable and see how much of a discount I get as opposed to a $500 deductable. But if it s just sending a request for a quote and getting one back by email, that is just too faceless. The happy medium is a truly interactive website. Until then I think most people will buy policies either by phone or in person.
