It varies on the type of business. A standard business day is 9 am to 5 pm. However, a bank keeps different hours, being open longer on Fridays and closing at noon on Wednesdays and Saturdays. If you are referring to shipping then normal business days are Monday through Friday.

I would contact your Secretary of State. They should have a list of resources that can explain exactly what types of licenses or permits are required for you to operate this type of business. I would also contact your states Dept of Agriculture to see if they have any requirements for how these herbs are grown, harvested, packaged and shipped. The fines for doing it wrong could be substantial.Good Luck.

How to start a business with electronics? -

Hello, Ive been thinking of some businesses to start. And One of the ones that i have come up with is like a business like dell or apple. Basically i would like to create Computers, it would kindof be like asus or something similar to that. Im not really sure where to start, what would it take, (money of course). Eventually i would like to create my own mp3 player, mainly i would like to create my own electronics and produce and sell them.Thanks

Great that you want to start your own business but I would suggest something different as computers are dropping in value and use that your margins would be sa small that your business would very likely struggle from the start and possibly even fail right away. So your money would disappear quickly. I would suggest creating a small specially built system for a very specific market niche. What that specific niche is you will need to determine by your area and what people are buying. Say it was a gaming PC computer you found people in your area wanting. What you would need to do is see if you can effectively build a gaming system that is cheaper and has better specs than the big guys (Dell, etc). If you can t or you only make $20 it is not worth it. if you have knowledge i would build 1, and maybe sell it around your town, or go and put it up on ebay. If u see people find it nice then make a website, and sell there. And to go abouve and beyond after a while build a shop

A walmart order needs to be canceled. How should I do? -

Hello everyoneI ordered one camera via Wal-Mart on line. I chose to pick up the item in Long Island because I thought I would be New York next week.However, my schedule changed and I had to return to my country immediately. I tried to cancel the order on line after everything settle down.. Unfortunately, the order status shows the item has been shipped and can not be canceled.I immediately contacted Wal-Mart for this problem. Their representative told me that I need to go to the store to cancel this order personally.I can not flight to New York just for a camera. That doesn t make any sense. Does anyone know how I should do now?Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks.

Actially, I think you don t need to call Wal-Mart. They will automatically cancel the order when customer doesn t pickup their order before expiration.

How do I move out my business in Texas? -

I m lost in my search for information to move out my business in Texas and opening it in Nevada. I tried to check out Texas website and there is no information there about closing business. What I need to know is what documents to fill out so that the state won t follow us to have us pay anything as we no longer operates on their state.

Marc I tried to answer your question before and I m not sure what happened to the info... new laptop, sorry. But try this, call Nevada(s) powers that be and ask them how to move your business to their state. They should know how that works for existing businesses. Then for Texas contact all the same departments with a closing date for your business and/or the new address. I m not sure if your Tax I.D. will be the same but your Workers Comp will change states. Try doing the reverse of your setup for Texas. Just a thought... Good luck in your venture.
