Need help starting up a few business ideas? -

I want to start up three separate companies. A vending business (pop and snack machine service), an online market place (selling men s personal care products), and a production company (producing films/documentaries).I m not sure how to go about creating these three separate entities. Would I create one parent company.. than form three separate DBA s for each respective company? Or should I just create three separate companies with no ties what so ever? Also, what sort of company should I formulate ie; LLC, INC etc.At the moment, my intentions are just get the ball rolling. It would be easy to spend millions starting up three ventures like this, however capital/investments are an issue (I ve saved up a couple grand which I m hoping is enough to cover all the licensing/business start up fees/and legal help). I want to get all the necessary paper work/licensing/legal issues out of the way now, so in the future, I can spend my time investing and bringing these businesses to life. I also live in Cleveland, Ohio if that makes any difference. I would appreciate any help.. I m excited to have made the decision to pursue my dreams, however i m a bit overwhelmed on how to actually do it right. Thanks!

You can try a completely free home based online business.

Develop a business plan complete with break even analysis for all three ideas and then pick the most promising looking one. Three new business is way to much to take on a one time. Concentrate on one and after it is operating profitably, then consider one of the others.

I work with entrepreneurs on a daily basis on proper entity formation. This is an important step and if done incorrectly, will likely cost you a lot of money in the future. You will probably be best served by forming an LLC, but get proper counsel on entity formation. Many of my clients are entrpreneurs who started their business and went the DIY route for forming their own LLC s and now they need to correct lots of mistakes and it is much more costly to correct them than to do it right from the beginning. From the business perspective, you need to focus on one business at a time. Too many entrepreneurs fail because of lack of focus. You cannot do everything at once and expect any of the ventures to be successful. I will provide you with 30 minutes of free consultation if you would like. Just visit my site can call or email me.

If I were you I d do like most companies, you have 1 big mother company say like.. (Your last name) Services Inc. then have like (Your last name) Drinks Snacks brought to you by (mother name).. A lot of companies are that way.. like Coke and Pepsi, I may be wrong but I believe they are actually under the same mother company.. or the generic drinks at the store, usually produce by the same companies who make the expensive ones.. The main thing would be getting the money.. Pick the business you think would make the most, I d say the website.. There are a lot of vending machines and production companies and I am sure they re hard to get into..
