If I entered into a contract and I discover that the business is not licensed, is it still valid? -

I entered into a contract with a company and then discovered that the company is not licensed to do business in any state. Is the contract still valid?

Yes. Contracts are legal and binding upon the 2 parties. licensing does not affect the contract. Failure to get a license could impact the company s ability to operate in that state. Which could cut down on their income or profit. So it is smart for you to do your research before entering into the contract.
