How do I know if a bidder in Ebay has a verified ebay account? -

I have a bidder who is winning on one of my auctions who is 2 days old. My settings do not allow people without paypal accounts to bid, but how do i know if their account has been verified? Is this the same thing? I sent the invoice with the requirement to pay within 48 hours or i will cancel their bid and send out a second chance offer to someone else.

Look at his Ebay rating. But you can t refuse to sell unless you stated a required rating in your requirements in the auctions text. Read Ebay s rules. If he is PayPal registered or not is another thing. He can become PayPal registered in a day or so. Unless you require instant payment he is well within his rights to do so and as long as he pays you within your deadline he is within his rights. If he doesn t Ebay will let you run the auction again or let you offer to the second bidder. Why do you care as long as he pays?Always wait to get the money. Never refund till you get the item back. I have had almost 60 transactions on Ebay the cheaters are almost always the sellers not the customer. I have had only one customer to kill my profit. I think I am up to about eight sellers who have cheated me. Watch the fine print. They will give you impossible deals. If it looks impossible it probably is. Check the article again and again before you bid. The cheats are there but as I said they are almost always sellers. Some of them are honest and will take care of you. Some won t do it until you file a complaint then they act like you cheated them and they will take care of you in a day. So watch the merchants.If he asks politely to give him a day or two to get registered or to get a transaction through his bank be nice. You have won a customer. Be bad you have won a bad mouther for life and he will tell every blogger how you did him bad and will never buy from you again. Conduct yourself graciously and carefully and you will gain yourself a good reputation. Its really up to you. you have time to kill him in Ebay. If you do he will never buy there again. If he is going to cheat you he will find a way no matter what.
