What is a good small business to start? and will go a long way inspite of recession? -

People have to eat with or without job and a no frill eatery worth the $ will survive all economic conditions.

What is your specialty or area of interest? Do you have your bachelor s or MBA degree? Why don t you look into bidding on Government contracts. These are service type contracts. With the recession that we are in, you can not go wrong in this area. Get with your local small business administration (SBA) program in your area. By taking this route, you may not need financing up front. There are criteria you must meet in order to go through the bidding process. Familiarize yourself with the Code of Federal Acquisition regulations. (FAR).The Government list a website that will tell you about the bidding process (fedbizops). Good Luck!

Well, I would think a good business that would go a long way during a recession would have to carry goods or services that people need and not want. So I guess, and I m no business man, Food, Tires, Clothes, Plumbing, Construction, Pest control and other things like that.

There are a couple of areas that continue to flourish despite the credit crunch - these include educational services, healthcare and petcare. What about a dog walking or pet sitting business or tutoring kids?

well i would say TEXTILE,FOOD SECTOR related item ,religion related item ,education ,medical related item ,will bring alot of money in all times.
