What I do when I m considering a domain name for a website, Jesse, is to brainstorm various names, writing out a list of prospective names. I d suggest trying to come up with names that are both descriptive and catchy. For example, you might want to start with clothingcreation.com or uniqueclothing.com and build from there. The idea is to come up with a name that describes what you ll provide, is catchy enough for your customers to remember and is relatively short so it s not a burden to type it all in. (For example, myuniqueclothingcreations.com may not be the best choice because of the last reason.)Once you ve put together a list of a dozen or two potential names, I d suggest you check the availability of the names on your list. (Below are 2 sites I use to check availability.) Cross names off your list that are not available.Next choose from the names available (not crossed off) using the above criteria. You can then register your favorite name (or a couple of names) with 1 and 1 or goDaddy (I use both) or another hosting firm. I wish you good luck!
