Why do I have to tip a hairdresser I have already paid $150 to for service when I know she will take home? -

about 60 - 70% of that amount. I think tipping hairdressers is like paying twice. They are not making the low wages waiters make. What is going on with this country that we have to tip people for every service we have already fully paid. Next we will have to tip secretaries and teachers.

I dont understand why Americans tip for everything, here in Australia tipping is not necessary or compulsory except maybe an exclusive restaurant.I suppose if you were happy with her service would use her again, maybe you should tip her (so she doesnt stuff up your hair next time). However if you were not happy wont use her again, dont tip her
