I work for a small business and they have been coming up short in the cash drawer. The boss has confesed that he has forgotten to take money for payments and such. Well now we are $600 short and they are saying that it will be taken out of our check. Is that legal?????

In most states, no. But if you don t pay them back they can fire you so it is a bad situation to be in.
