Question about a business lisense? -

I am opening a really small retail business. I ask the landlord what licenses I need. She said a sales tax permit. I asked her about a business license and she said the building already had it. I am still kind of confused. Do I still need to get one? THanks

I would go down to the tax and auditor building and ask them in personal, that way all your I s are dotted just in case.you could also call the Small Buisness Bureau . They would be able to tell you everything you would need.
