If you can make money then great. Lots of people figure out how to make money in those businesses.Just look out if you become successful, the government will make life hard for you. It will at the least expect 15% self-employment tax, plus 15-35% income tax on top of that, and 0-10% state tax on top of that, not to mention all the accounting you have to do to figure out how much to pay the government.And that is even if you can get by the government licensing regarding both the taxi business and the food service business. Haha, good luck with that!This is the absurdity of our government. The masses think it s good to have more government so you can stick it to the big guy. But the reality is it makes everybody s life a nightmare, especially those who are trying to be productive members of society, like this poster who is looking to start his own small business.
Only if you think you will make enough profit to cover wear and tear of your car and to pay for gas and still have money to live of off.
