You need to let people know why your shop is different and awesome (why they should go there) and if you are not making sales you will fail, so the sales tasks are the most important in my mind). Probably anything were you don t have to interact with costumers.You have to understand that when a company hires someone, they don t want to give off a bad image. Wild hair dye, piercings, tattoos, etc. are usually considered very young and unprofessional, which is why it is so hard to get a job when you do these sort of things to your body. Sure it is your body, do what you want, I m not speaking for or against it, but remember whose signing the paycheck. Any company that has clerks dealing with the public will put restrictions on personal appearance. That is a given and inescapable. You should look for a job where they can hide you in the warehouse; somewhere that you don t have to deal with the public. They won t be so hot and bothered by your appearance, then. I am in my 3rd year in a shop lease, I got a buyer but if the new owner doesn��t pay the rent, will the landlord come after me for the rent.

This is a complex area which depends on many factors.When was the lease originally granted? Leases can be bought and sold (assigned) so if you took over an existing lease it is irrelevant when you started but when it was originally granted.If the lease was granted before 1 Jan 1996 it is an old lease. In which case the original tenant will remain liable for the entire term of the lease. Any subsequent tenants may not be liable after they sell, but they would almost certainly have been required to enter into agreements to be liable for the rent for the entire remainder of the term. So if your lease is an old lease then your landlord can chase you for unpaid rent in the future.If the lease was granted on or after 1 Jan 1996 it is a new lease. In this case old tenants cease to be liable as soon as the new buyer completes their purchase of the lease. However, the landlord can (and almost certainly will) require the outgoing tenant to enter into an Authorised Guarantee Agreements (AGA). This means that you could be chased for rent while the person who bought from you is still there. As soon as they sell you are in the clear (and they have to give and AGA for their buyer etc).In either case the landlord can has to serve notice on you within 6 months of the rent becoming due, so you cannot be liable for more than 6 months rent. And if this does happen you can insist on becoming an overriding landlord. IE you become the landlord of the bad payer and you in turn are the tenant of the main landlord. This gives you the right to take some action against the bad payer, such as forcing them out allowing you to find a better tenant.Depending on the terms of your lease you may have other options such as a break clause. There are many manufacturers throughout the country. I suggest you go on line or look in your local yellow pages. If your degree of expertise in this line is good than you should not have any problem. Go direct to the horses mouth so to speak.

OK, first of all, your employer s SPOUSE has nothing to do with this question. I think you re asking if they are SUPPOSED to do things.A bin in the ladies room would certainly seem to be a basic thing to provide, but I don t think it s illegal of them not to have one. Have you ASKED for one? As far as the room being like a freezer, again, there is no law against keeping a room cold, unless it was actually below board of health standards for your city or town. Get a thermometer and keep track of the temperature in your regular work area and see whether it meets local standards or not. If not, you have legitimate reason for a complaint.The part of your question that actually DOES sound illegal is where you say Unless we work unbelievable hard we won t get paid . Can you give more details about that? Do you work solely on commission? Otherwise, your employer must pay you at least minimum wage. Please explain what he actually does pay you, and why.

How can you find out if a name of a business has not been used? -

How much trouble will you be in if you use a name that is already in exsistence?

There are businesses that do have the same name but they are usually located in different cities and/or states. Each business name has to be registered though and you will have a business identification number or what is called a FEIN number. (a tax identification number). This is sometimes your social security number if you have a very small home business for example. You cannot use a trademark already in existence. Ex: You can use the name McDonalds (if it is your name )but you cannot associate it with golden arches or similar colors.You can use different variations of names or think of something creative, a name pertaining to the type of business you might be starting. For example, I had a cleaning business (offices, homes, factories) My business was called Mighty Brite Cleaning. Try thinking outside the box.Call your local Department of Revenue. They will provide you with all the instructions you need as far as getting your business name established. It is not very difficult at all.

Using the name of an existing business or someone else s trademarked property can get you sued (and every cent you made under that name can be claimed by that party, plus interest, penalties, etc), or can get you thrown in prison for a number of years plus fines (violation of trademark and/or copyright laws).Do NOT use someone else s trademark, service mark, or registered business name.Have your Intellectual Property attorney do a trademark and service mark search. Check with the Secretary of the State office in your state capitol. There will be a corporate registration office within your state s Secretary of the State office. What are your thoughts on Ebay and Paypal? I used to use them years ago, I was ripped off so I quit.? -

Craigslist is cool, but people are cheap and rude. Ebay and Paypal rip you with fee s and pretty sh*ty service, but you get what your items are worth! Tough call.... Also, ebay forces you to accept Paypal now don t they?

they dont force you to, its just strongly encouraged . since they are the same company they do rip ya, and as a seller there is hardly any protection for you.

Unless you have local pickup option, you have to use PayPal now (no checks, MO s, etc.). They were supposed to have other competing payment processors available, but don t know if that has happened yet.eBay and PayPal do not rip you off with fees; they charge for the services they provide as any business would. Since you were last there, they have instituted many new protections for both buyers and sellers. A lot has changed.If you don t make insured and confirmed/tracked shipments an option but rather require them on all transactions, you have the protection you need to prevent bogus did t get it claims. You don t get bad checks or forged money orders.Specify complete terms in the auction clearly, including any return policy so they know up front (if you allow returns) that they will be responsible for the return shipping costs, you must receive the item back in good condition and won t refund until it arrives, and you will only refund the purchase price and not the initial shipping costs.You re still going to have the hopefully rare misunderstanding but these things will happen.Or, just stay with Craigslist and put up with the bargain shoppers. I ve found after years on both eBay and Craigslist that people tend to reflect the attitude I approach them with. There will always be the unrepentent jerk out there, but I don t let that keep me from moving on.

I ve used eBay for buying and selling and so far have not had a bad experience. All buyers and sellers seem really friendly and the benefit of Paypal is that you don t have to give out your bank details to any of the people you trade with. I would highly recommend eBay.
