Many people think of doing this and try to start a business and fail. There are many reasons for this but the main one is they haven t thought it through from end to end. As Stephen Covey states there is a way to get this right and you seem to have got half of it. Here is what he says and believe me he knows, Start with the end in mind. What skills have you got? What type of business could you do? and most importantly the bit you have touched on is, IS there really a market for this? Many people have a passion for something and so they open a business and they get no customers or only a small number. They try to advertise their way out of trouble and create even bigger problems. They may be passionate about something but not everyone else is.If you are passionate about something and you can see that customers in Abbot s Ford need that something, then you have a business. If you are just opening something to start a business that you are not passionate about, please don t.
