Question on Paypal and eBay? -

I notice how you can now sell an item on eBay without going throug that whole laborious process of signing up for a paypal account. Instead it asks you for an email where paypal can transfer the funds. Does this mean i can recieve payments without holding a paypal account?Thanks.

no you cant do it like that, to transfer money to the email address you need a paypal account, because thats how it transfers money to you, using your email address as the account, people will send money to your paypal account by putting in your email address that you have registered with them.Ebay will never make it so you dont have to use paypal, how on earth would they take there sellers fee s? end of sale fee s? paypal fee s? and should someone get scammed, how will they get there money back?
