How easily can I transfer my partnership of an llc? -

If someone is the sole partner in an LLC and wants to transfer their interest in the firm to a relative, how is this done? Is it expensive?

I m not sure if it is necessary, but you could meet with a lawyer and have them write up a contract. When I formed my own LLC it cost about 160-200 to do the basic paperwork. I would expect them to charge something similar. You might also check the website www.legalzoom.com They have contracts for pretty cheap.
