Contractual Laws on eBay? -

I sold an item on eBay on November 7th that cost $18 (very petty) returns were accepted up to 7 days after transaction occurred and the buyer pays the return shipping. I get a case filed against me today on eBay because I offered the person a refund after purchasing the item and being unsatisfied after my return-accepted date. The buyer also wants me to pay for his return shipping that I did not even tell him to send back because it simply was not worth it. I am in college and have a cost-free attorney that I can go to but before I go to these extents, who is in the wrong. I can and will file a small claims against this person simply for being irrational and harassing me.

It appears that you may be morally right and contractually wrong. Happens a lot, no?! Since you have access to free legal advice, you would be well-advised to take advantage of it BEFORE you file any proceedings of law.Good Luck!
