It s a nice idea and yes, you ll likely have tons of people wanting to drop their little snookems off at your door. Here s the big problem with your free idea:If you can t afford day care fees, how are you setup to handle legal ones? All it will take is one parent claiming you fed their child something that made them sick (even if you didn t) or that their child has a bruise that wasn t there when they dropped them off at your home to get you shut down and possibly facing jail time. You won t believe how fast - the state health department, child protective services, and your local police will become your new live-in friends. And that s just the beginning of what will go wrong.Do you live in a house or an apartment? A private residence has special requirements to operate as a daycare center. Apartments normally have in the lease that no business can be operated out of a unit. Better check that too.If you want to watch your friend s kids, fine. But don t advertise yourself as a business because you ll have to go through all the legal regulations to do so.
That is really nice, and nothing in life is free anymore so I m sure you would be overwhelmed with people trying to enroll their child create some flyers, or put an ad in your local newsletter/newspaper and watch how many people contact you...
aww thats nice :]
