I m in the same boat with you! I m a Christian as well and am an aspiring event planner. I agree with Diane-it s YOUR business! Therefore you make the rules and have the right to assist any clients you like. But definitely state your alcohol policy up front and in writing. You are in no way an idiot..lol There is definitely a way that you can stay true to your faith, values and beliefs while also working in a career that you love. Don t worry about what other people may say about you. It s your business! As long as you re pleasing to God, that s what matters. :-) God bless you!
You are an entrepreneur (You idiot): You are not GOD: Let GOD deal with the sins of his children: If you want to make money sell Alcohol. just make sure you have a license on the window and the door.. I work for a cruise line, if we did not sell alcohol, we would be out of business.. Don t let your bible render you stupid!!! Like most christians do..
It s your business, you can do what you want, BUT I would be sure state this policy up front before you even discuss anything with the client so that there is no misunderstandings later.
ya you don t have to serve alcohol
