Who knows about registering business names? -

i am wanting to register a business name and there is already one called in style clothing can i have instyle clothing with instyle being one word

I registered my business as an LLC and got my tax id number online. I m in Missouri. Visit your states Secretary of State website.

You could try I suppose! I just registered my business name last week, went to a county sub-courthouse like where you get titles for cars transferred to your name and stuff like that. Paid 20 bucks and got an Assumed Name Certificate where nobody else can get my Business name and I can cash checks in my bank under that name.
