You may not like this answer but it is the truth. Entrepreneurs do things, take risks, fail and keep trying until they realise their dream. Entrepreneurs are usually the worst managers in the world.You have actually captured that in your question. Managers manage things like product launch, sales, marketing, people, processes etc.They have nothing to do with starting a business. You may learn some useful things at University which will help but they sure don t teach you how to start a business.Administration is just that - administration they administer things.Successful entrepreneurs are positive thinkers. They always think that they can do everything. Confidence is one trait that you need to become an entrepreneur.Alan Sugar, Richard Branson - none of these had a university education they just believed they could achieve something and worked at it very hard.

First off let me congradulate you on going to college. I know at times things will be very difficult on your educational journey but I promise you stick in school because it will be well worth the wait. To properly answer your question the best fit for you on if you want to be a business owner would be business administration. The classes taken in this field will give you the proper training to effectively start and run a business. You will take classes like accounting, Stragetic planning, marketing , strategic planning, and many other classes designed to teach you how to be a businees men or women Business management is nothing but babysitting your employees.
