Is it ok getting Paid like this?...? -

ok im going to sell $15.00 shirts at the local swap meet.i get paid 30 and $2.00 for every shirt i sell.Is that fair?im just curious.

When you say 30, do you mean $.30 as in 30 cents and then 2.00 or is it 30 dollars for being at the meet and then $2 per shirt. Either way it puts the pressure on you to sell the shirts in order to get paid more. If you think you can only sell five shirts but think you are worth more than $40 for how long you are there then you shouldn t do it. If you are a great salesman and are able to sell a lot of shirts that could mean a lot of money. For example if you sell 4/hour then you are making $8/hour and that is as much as you could be making at a fast food restaurant.Anyway Fair is really up to you to decide. It is definately a legal way of paying someone, but getting a fair wage is based on what you are worth.
