hi im 15 yrs. old and i want to open up a sneaker store/boutique (in a few years) selling higher quality goods like clothing, sneakers and accesories. Things i d like to sel are e.g. : casio g-shocks, new era caps, limited nike sneakers and some urban clothing (lrg, undercrown). I d like to run a store like karmaloop and such.now my questions.how difficult is it for a foreigner to open a store abroad, i live in europe and i wanna open up a store either in the us or asia? what training do i need, any special required?what should i have before i can even start?-business plan wtf?-startup money?-loan?-space-how to get an account (nike and others)?-if no account, how do i get my supplies?plz halp!

1- If you are a foreigner on the market, you have at least to study it first and ask about each countries laws, etc.... and each market is different . - You have to start working for retail stores and gain some experience first about the products, what is the cons and pros in the business.. - business plan is a must , so you know where you stand . - loans is hard to get specially if you are young with no experience.. nike and others would like to have you with good credit scores, etc... - and with no accounts, you will go to black market, or fake products ... with nike for sure .. and most other companies you have to have account..Good luck and have a great day ...

Well you really need to understand your market. Do a little research into the demand. Make sure you have the resources (human labor, equipment and accounting software) and then make sure you are financially covered for at least 3 to 6 months. Nothing sinks a business faster then under capitalization. Use financing as a last resort if your business model is untested. You can make it with whats called customer financing which is where you use your customer base as a method to sustain you through receivables or contracts. And most importantly, don t go it alone.
