There are many really big companies that started in garages, moved to stores, then to internet. Or moved from stores to internet. Think Bill Gates, Nike, MAC, etc., But, it s a whole lot of work and takes an entirely different marketing strategy for each so you ll really want to research the differences in the specific industry you are interested in before trying it.

Transition from store to internet? -
Hey I was wondering if anyone had a few examples of businesses that had stores around the U.S, and then made a transition to the internet. One example is Dell. They don t have stores anymore. You can only order the product online. Are there anyother businesses like Dell?Or Vice Versa. Any stores that started out as only on the internet, and then branched out to physical buildings. Thanks!
