Do you need a license to start a business selling resumes? -

I am looking at starting an online resume service to introduce applicants to potential companies. Is there any license required to sell resumes as a service to employers or is this considered head hunting?

Businesses are not going to pay you for resumes, they can get hundreds with a single ad in the paper. As an Employee Representative you may do better, but you d be better charging the employee. (A percent of the years first salary, or maybe just a base rate per month while you work for them to find jobs.) As for the license, you don t need to be licensed to do this, but you WILL need a business license issued by your state or local taxing authority.

Why would they do that when Career Builder, Monster, and other companies do that already? Do you already have a base or core group of businesses on board with this idea already? As for licensing, you just need to file your business as a LLC or something to that effect, on your Secretary of State s website.

I m not fully certain `bout this !?!... But I m thinking that might be seen as ??? atleast: Borderline coruption !?! I say this because : giving out peoples info as freely or as often as you`re truly making it seem!?! I guess I could say is phase one of plotting a crime!?! Such as bribe, invasion of privacy !?! Or even steling someones idea !! whivh may not be seen as a crime as of yet !?! . But just seems like DiRtY Business to me ~!!!. (I d have to know a`little inside info. to be able to decide how right or wRoNg this might be !?!. G/L ~!!! r `R` r

You betcha. And a huge bond.
