While working as a police officer,(many years ago) I built one or two houses a year myself without borrowing money. One of the proudest moments was the sell of that first house. Later when my wife and I open two larger home building companies, it was great when at closing that check in your name was handed to you. Good luck my friend.
First of all, I just want to wish you ALL THE BEST w/your new endeavor, Eddie, I m SURE you WILL do VERY WELL. You have the know how , the drive , the brains to know how to make things happen. I m SURE this WILL be a success for you. Yes, I DO so well know the feeling of your first sale. My ex husband started a Swimming Pool business, opened a retail store which I did the overseeing of, plus payroll, plus actually helping on the physical end of installations too. It turned into a multi million dollar business. I DO remember the first container of chemicals I sold at the store when I was all alone had to make change from a $50 bill for a $5 item...lol So I too well KNOW all the good feelings BENEFITS from starting your own business...good luck to you, Eddie, all the best...:)
All the best for the future, Eddie.......I felt great and proud of myself..... ran a desk top publishing centre for nearly 10 years...It was a small unit with 4 girls and 1 office boy to assist me.....I still have the drive and the confidence to start a business now but hubby wont let me.
i almost fell over picking all those $1 s and $5 s and a few $20 s off the stage before i left!! :))
