I would like to start a website where people can order grocery from their computer in the United States or England to be picked up by their family and friends in Jamaica, West Indies. This idea is not new in America (Peapod, Netgrocer), however it is fairly new for Jamaica. Historically, Jamaicans send barrels down to their family and this would allow them to send food and clothes over the internet at a competitive price. I d like for you to share your thoughts on this type of market. Perhaps a charity system would be more beneficial? Share your thoughts on whether it should be a non-profit or profit as Jamaicans can really benefit from this system.
