I wish to buy small quantities under 100 of goods in maybe China amp; bring to Australia. Do I need any license? -

If the goods are for retail you will need an importers licence and if they are animal or vegetable they will need to pass quarantine. You will also have to get an ABN or and register for the GST if you are making sales over $75,000.I would be seeing an accountant in your local area along with someone from the department of trade. There is no point in trying to go under the radar and then finding yourself in trouble with customs. You should do the right thing from the word go.Department of Foreign Affairs and Tradehttp://www.dfat.gov.au/I wish you well in your endeavours.Good Luck!!!
