How does one open and close a reception area? -

Hi,Im writing a standard operating procedure on how one would open and close a reception area in a main office.Could anyone assist?

The reception area is the area that has information regarding the whole office or building, this is the place which is the first to open and last to close, in some cases like in an apartment complex, it never closes.
